| The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards"(2017 Edition 2020Revision)focuses on cultivating students’ mathematical core literacy,and mathematical thinking ability runs through the whole process of the development of mathematical core literacy.Therefore,improving students’ mathematical thinking ability is an important goal of high school mathematics education.Mathematics writing is a new teaching method.In the process of writing,students make a series of thinking activities such as interpretation,reflection,internalization,organization,connection and integration of the received mathematical information,and learn to express their cognition of the world in mathematical language.Therefore,mathematical writing plays an important role in promoting the development of mathematical thinking ability.Firstly,this paper combs the literature on mathematical writing and mathematical thinking ability.Mathematical writing is divided into four dimensions: students’ attitude towards mathematical writing,students’ evaluation of mathematical writing,students’ way of mathematical writing and elements of mathematical writing ability.Mathematical thinking ability is divided into three dimensions: mathematical representation thinking,mathematical logic thinking and mathematical intuition thinking.The ’high school students’ mathematical writing questionnaire’ and ’high school students’ mathematical thinking ability test volume’ were compiled.The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients were0.945 and 0.836 respectively.The KMO values were 0.896 and 0.834(p<0.05),respectively,and the reliability and validity were good.After the formal test,through correlation analysis,it is concluded that mathematical writing has a significant positive impact on high school students’ mathematical thinking ability and its various dimensions;especially for mathematical logic thinking ability;it is feasible to improve the mathematical thinking ability of high school students through mathematical writing activities.According to the results of the investigation and analysis,the mathematical writing practice activities aiming at promoting the development of high school students’ mathematical thinking ability are designed.According to the thinking level,they are divided into four types: routine writing,open writing,inquiry writing and creative writing.Finally,after the end of the mathematics writing activity,students were interviewed,some writing examples were analyzed,and relevant teaching suggestions were put forward: the formulation of mathematics writing goals should conform to the characteristics of the development of high school students’ mathematical thinking;the selection of mathematical writing content should consider the problem principle;the evaluation of mathematical writing cannot ignore the development and change of students’ mathematical thinking.This paper confirms the positive correlation between mathematical writing and mathematical thinking ability through research,explores the teaching of mathematical writing practice activities,and proposes teaching suggestions for mathematical writing activities to promote the development of high school students’ thinking ability. |
