Abstract/Summary:
As an important link of learning internalization,homework is a necessary supplement to classroom teaching activities,which plays an important role in promoting the development of students’ core literacy.The "Double reduction" policy points out that the heavy homework burden of students should be reduced,and a large number of mechanical,ineffective and repetitive exercises should be eliminated,and the homework style and quality are put forward high requirements.The Opinions on Deepening Education and Teaching Reform and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education issued by the CPC Central Committee and The State Council clearly points out that "students should be encouraged to complete basic homework well,strengthen practical homework,explore flexible homework and interdisciplinary homework,and constantly improve the quality of homework design".The 2022 version of the physics curriculum standards for compulsory education requires students to add comprehensive,exploratory and innovative practical work on the basis of emphasis on understanding and application.The specific work of this study is as follows:First,the current implementation of junior high school physics practical homework is investigated,and the difficulties of front-line physics teachers in assigning practical homework is clarified.On the basis of sorting out domestic and foreign research on physics practical homework,the purpose and significance of this study are expounded.Secondly,it expounds the theoretical basis of physics practical assignment setting.The activity suggestions in the fourth part of the 2022 edition of compulsory education physics curriculum standard are the basis of practical homework design.The practical homework of junior high school physics studied in this paper can be divided into four types: data search,field investigation,hands-on production and experimental design.After classifying and summarizing possible topics for junior high school physics practical homework and practical homework after class in physics textbooks published by People’s Education Press,the requirements of the two for different types of practical homework are compared and analyzed.In addition,the theoretical basis of this research is determined to be the integration of knowledge and action education theory,pragmatic education theory and humanistic learning theory.Thirdly,it investigated and analyzed the current situation of physics homework in a middle school in Guizhou.It was found that the students’ homework was simple in form and focused on written exercises.Most teachers don’t have the time and energy to design practical physics homework,and have little understanding of the methods and paths of its design,implementation and evaluation.Fourthly,the principles and processes of practical homework design in junior physics are discussed,and the practical homework schemes and instruction manuals of data access,field investigation,hands-on production and experimental design are designed respectively,in order to provide reference for front-line teachers.Fifthly,a school in Guizhou assigned and guided eighth grade students to complete practical homework.Through student questionnaire and teacher interview,the implementation of practical homework was evaluated,and it was found that the implementation of physics practical homework well stimulated students’ interest in learning and played a positive role in promoting the development of students’ innovative consciousness and practical ability.It gives full play to the educational function of homework.Finally,Some suggestions,such as proceed from actual needs,step by step;Break the routine,break the regular thinking tendency;education oriented,effective evaluation are proposed as strategies to implement practical physics work.
