Teaching design is the preparation work carried out by teachers for implementing classroom teaching, completing teaching tasks and implementing teaching objectives, which includes a series of complex links, among which textbook interpretation, analysis of learning conditions and method selection are the most important ones.In this paper,we analyze the new features and problems in the unified version of high school history textbooks from the perspective of secondary school history teaching, address the contradiction between more content and less class time as commonly reflected by teachers, combine the unit teaching methods widely used in secondary school history teaching practice in recent years, propose the basic principles, methods and steps of content integration-based unit teaching design, and analyze and illustrate them through cases.Relevant research and teaching practice prove that the unit teaching method, when properly applied, can help solve teaching difficulties, improve teachers’ teaching level and deepen students’ learning ability. The structure of the text is divided into six parts: the introduction mainly describes the reason of selecting the topic, the current situation of the study, the purpose of the study, the significance of the study and the research method;the conclusion mainly summarizes the whole text, refines the viewpoints and points out the shortcomings. The main body of the text is divided into four parts: the first part explains the concepts and theoretical bases;the second part puts forward three basic principles of content integration and unit teaching design: "based on curriculum standards, clarify the teaching objectives;follow the historical logic, integrate the content appropriately;and design the teaching reasonably according to the law of learning".The third part illustrates the basic methods of content integration through cases, including "understanding the teaching task through the textbook and curriculum standards;appropriately supplementing the teaching contents with the learning situation;clarifying the teaching objectives and dividing the key points;choosing horizontal or vertical methods to complete the content integration around the unit theme, and using the table to connect the other steps of the unit teaching design ",to pave the way for completing the unit teaching design with content integration as the main theme. The fourth part elaborates the four links of unit teaching activities, unit homework, unit teaching evaluation and unit teaching reflection with teaching cases to form an interlocking unit teaching design with content integration as the main theme.
