| In the current context of the big data era,people’s data awareness is also increasing.In the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition),certain requirements are also put forward for students’ data awareness,and the primary school level is the primary stage for cultivating and developing students’ data awareness;however,as the current domestic research on data awareness is in its infancy,resulting in relevant teaching design,teaching implementation and However,because research on data awareness is still in its infancy in China,there is little teaching design,implementation and evaluation,and teachers’ efforts to develop students’ data awareness are not effective.As a result,the current teaching of Statistics and Concepts at the primary school level has only taught students the basic calculations and formulas,but not the intrinsic meaning of data and the development of data awareness,which is far from the requirements of the new curriculum.Therefore,this study uses "Statistics and Probability" as a vehicle to investigate how to optimise teaching strategies to help students develop data processing and analysis skills in their learning,so as to better cultivate data awareness among primary school students.In order to explore how to cultivate the data awareness of primary school students through the teaching of "statistics and probability",this research mainly focuses on the following two questions: First,what is the current situation of teaching in the "statistics and probability" section of primary schools? What kind of problems exist and how can they be solved? Second,how to cultivate primary school students’ data awareness more effectively through the application of teaching concepts?This study carried out the following specific research around the above problems:firstly,through the literature search of "data awareness","data awareness cultivation" and "teaching strategies of statistics and probability",to determine the direction and focus of this research,and determine its theoretical basis;Then,the connotation definition and value statement of the cultivation of data awareness of primary school students were carried out to determine the value of this study.Secondly,through the investigation and case analysis of some teachers and students of the practice school,the problems in the current "Statistics and Probability" section of primary schools are found out,and the reasons behind the problems are found.Finally,in order to cultivate students’ data awareness in the "Statistics and Probability" section and propose corresponding teaching strategies,based on the above teaching strategies,this study designs a complete teaching application case for teachers’ reference.In the first part,the analysis of the primary school mathematics textbook for grades1-6 found that the "Statistics and Probability" section is mainly divided into "data classification,data collection,collation and expression,and the possibility of random phenomena." "These three sections are distributed in different sections according to the cognitive characteristics of students.In the second part,through the investigation and case analysis of some front-line teachers and students in the practice school,it can be seen that at present,the teaching of data awareness cultivation of primary school students mainly has the following problems: the teaching and training goals of teachers’ data awareness are not clear and specific;The "Statistics and Probability" class is not active enough;Teachers ignore student variability and teachers receive little feedbackThe third part points to an overview of the teaching of "statistics and probability" in primary mathematics for the cultivation of data awareness,such as theoretical basis,goal basis and teaching philosophy.The fourth part is the teaching strategy of data awareness cultivation in primary school students.Based on the existing problems in the current teaching status of "statistics and probability",this study combines the teaching theoretical basis,goal basis and teaching philosophy to propose a clear teaching goal design strategy for data awareness cultivation.Modular teaching content design strategy pointing to core competencies;Teaching implementation strategies that stimulate student agency;Develop hierarchical and diversified homework teaching evaluation strategies.In the fifth part,this study selects the "Line Statistical Chart" of the fifth grade of primary mathematics as a teaching case,starting from the four aspects of teaching goal formulation,teaching content design,teaching implementation and hierarchical and diversified homework teaching evaluation,to provide teachers with a complete teaching application case and teaching reflection. |
