With the development of social informatization,People’s Daily life is increasingly inseparable from data.The information carried by data provides significant help for our judgment and prediction.Compared with the past,data consciousness is the basic quality necessary for social citizens in the era of big data,and data consciousness is also one of the core qualities necessary for every student.Therefore,in order to better cultivate students’ data awareness,this paper takes "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)" as a reference,starting from two aspects of exploring the presentation of data awareness in textbooks and investigating teachers’ status quo in cultivating students’ data awareness,hoping to provide some inspiration for primary school Mathematics teachers.To be specific,this study first uses the literature research method to search the terms "statistics and probability","data awareness" and so on,to determine the direction and focus of this study.Then the content of primary school students’ data awareness is defined and value statement,and the value of this study is determined.Then,an in-depth interview was conducted with 8 first-line primary school mathematics teachers and an in-depth analysis was made on the design of relevant teaching activities of relevant teachers.Through sorting out the existing problems in the design of teaching activities to cultivate primary school students’ data awareness based on the "statistics and probability" plate as the carrier and finding out the reasons,this paper puts forward corresponding strategies for the design of mathematics teaching activities to cultivate primary school students’ data awareness.From the investigation of the status quo of teachers’ teaching activity design in the section of "Statistics and probability",the author learned that most teachers hold a positive attitude towards the importance of training primary school students’ data awareness.However,through further analysis of relevant teaching activity design,some teachers have some problems in the design of teaching activities and classroom teaching of training primary school students’ data awareness.Teachers’ preliminary analysis of teaching activity design is more arbitrary,teachers’ partial design of teaching activity target is more one-sided,teachers’ design and implementation of teaching activity is more arbitrary,teachers’ reflection on the depth of teaching activity design is not enough.The author believes that the reasons for the above problems are teachers’ lack of systematic learning of data consciousness in the new curriculum standard,teachers’ great influence on the concept of exam-oriented education and teachers’ lack of effective teaching reflection methods and strategies.Then,based on Freidenthal’s mathematics education theory,Smith and Ragan’s teaching design model and other excellent teachers’ teaching plans,the author puts forward the teaching activity design strategy pointing to the data awareness of primary school students.Improve teachers’ preliminary analysis of the design of teaching activities pointing to primary school students’ data awareness,accurately formulate the target of teaching activities pointing to primary school students’ data awareness,highlight the students’ subjectivity in the design of teaching activities pointing to primary school students’ data awareness,and improve the design of teaching activities pointing to primary school students’ data awareness with the help of reflection.The author hopes that the above strategies can play an active role in the teaching activities of cultivating students’ awareness of data.
