| The whole book reading teaching is a teaching and learning activity that teachers and students carry out around the whole book with educational value.In this process,students acquire integrated reading experience,acquire reading methods,and realize the development of reading literacy.Reading the whole book is an important course content in Chinese subject,which plays an irreplaceable role in "cultivating morality and people" and cultivating students’ core quality.However,the current evaluation method in the whole book reading teaching can not drive the cultivation of students’ core literacy.The teaching and evaluation of the whole book reading are in a separate state,and reading has the disadvantages of shallow and fragmented.How to overcome the harm of shallow reading and help students realize real reading is an important premise of the whole book reading teaching reform.In April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(2022 edition),"performance" has become an important keyword,proposing that teaching should pay attention to students’ real performance and promote performance assessment.Performance assessment is a kind of evaluation method based on real situation and according to certain scoring rules to evaluate students’ performance or achievements in completing tasks.It focuses on learning results and pays more attention to the learning process,advocates the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation,and creates opportunities for students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned to solve complex problems,so as to evaluate and cultivate students’ core qualities.This paper explores the application of performance assessment of whole book reading teaching in primary schools,aiming at the innovation of the whole book reading assessment method in elementary school,enabling students to achieve in-depth reading and cultivating reading literacy.This study clarifies the connotation and research status of performance assessment and whole book reading through literature analysis,demonstrates their relevance,further develops their application procedures,and puts it into practice through case study to verify their feasibility and implementation effect.The first part is introduction.Based on the review of the literature,the paper summarizes the research on the related concepts of "performance assessment" and "whole book reading",and systematically explains the research questions and their reasons,research significance,research ideas and methods.The second part is the status survey.Questionnaire survey was conducted on front-line teachers and students to understand the current teaching and evaluation status of whole book reading and analyze the reasons.In view of the existing problems,the study believes that it is necessary to apply performance assessment to the teaching of the whole Book reading in elementary schools.The third part is the theoretical basis.This paper explains the feasibility and necessity of applying performance assessment to the whole book reading in primary school.Performance assessment is of great benefit to the cultivation of students’ reading literacy.As an important intermediary for the development of students’ core literacy,it is helpful to give play to the educational value of the whole book reading and to innovate the evaluation method of the whole book reading.The fourth part is the application procedure.Based on the analysis of the theory and the current situation,combined with the performance assessment core three elements to build its application program,to lay the foundation for the implementation of the case.The fifth part is a case study.On the basis of the application procedure of reading performance evaluation in elementary school,this paper takes the recommended reading book "Grass House" of the whole book in the sixth grade of Chinese in the unified edition textbook as the study case,designs the guided reading course,the promotion course and the sharing course,determines the assessment objectives,designs the performance tasks,makes the scoring rules,and carries out the design and implementation of reading performance assessment of the whole book in primary school.The sixth part is the application suggestions.Through the practice of case study,combined with its findings and shortcomings,summed up the suggestions to promote the application of the whole book reading performance evaluation in primary schools.The seventh part is the research summary and prospect.After reviewing the whole research,some aspects that can be improved are put forward,and on this basis,the content and direction of future research are clarified. |
