Physics holds an important position in the development of science and technology,and China attaches great importance to the development of the physics discipline by making it a mandatory subject in science and engineering majors.However,compared to the United States,China has a limited number of talents in the field of physics.In the process of cultivating cutting-edge physics talents,the cultivation of intuitive thinking in junior high school physics teaching becomes a subject worthy of in-depth research,as several top physicists have acknowledged the significant role of intuitive thinking in scientific discoveries.The Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)explicitly emphasizes the need to develop the potential of each student in learning science and focuses on fostering their innovative spirit.To achieve these goals,the cultivation of intuitive thinking must be given due attention.With the introduction of the new curriculum standard,China’s education reform has shown initial effectiveness.Physics teachers have also adapted their teaching methods to align with the evolving educational objectives,no longer focusing solely on creating "problem-solving machines" proficient in exams,but also emphasizing the development of students’ thinking and inquiry skills.However,in daily teaching,teachers’ understanding and attention to intuitive thinking are still inadequate.To cultivate cutting-edge physics talents and meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard,this study employed research methods such as literature review,interviews,questionnaires,observations,action research,and comparative experiments to conduct an in-depth investigation into the cultivation of students’ intuitive thinking in junior high school physics teaching.This thesis consists of six chapters.Chapter One reflects deeply and analyzes the current situation of cultivating intuitive thinking in junior high school physics teaching,elaborating in detail on the necessity of cultivating intuitive thinking in junior high school physics teaching both domestically and internationally.Chapter Two precisely defines and explains the concepts of thinking and intuitive thinking through literature review and the author’s own understanding.Chapter Three lists the relevant psychological and educational theories on which the proposed teaching strategies for cultivating intuitive thinking are based.Chapter Four provides suggestions for cultivating intuitive thinking in teaching and presents corresponding teaching practice examples,referencing previous theoretical research on cultivating intuitive thinking and considering the characteristics of junior high school physics teaching.Chapter Five analyzes the results of teaching practices in our school,demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed teaching strategies.It shows that the strategies not only improve students’ performance,interest,and self-directed learning awareness but also enhance their inquiry and practical abilities.Finally,Chapter Six presents the conclusion: the teaching strategies proposed in this thesis contribute not only to the development of students’ intuitive thinking but also to their learning enthusiasm and practical abilities.They align with the requirements of the new curriculum standard and meet the demands of contemporary society for modern talents.It is hoped that this analysis and research in this thesis can provide inspiration to current physics teachers and bring some innovation to physics teaching.
