The unified junior high school ancient oratorical texts are an important component of junior high school language teaching and have great value in developing critical thinking skills and enhancing cultural confidence, but there are certain limitations in teaching ancient oratorical texts in the traditional teaching mode. How to develop students’ discursive skills and enhance cultural confidence through teaching ancient expository texts within limited classroom time has become an important issue of concern for front-line teachers and researchers. The Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the Yidao Curriculum Standards)points out that the curriculum content is arranged in the form of learning task clusters and provides a methodological guide for reaching the teaching goals-thematic teaching.By examining the existing research on thematic teaching and referring to the teaching practice experiences of front-line teachers, the researcher finds that the thematic teaching model has great potential for developing students’ core literacies, especially thinking skills.Based on this, the purpose of this paper is to actively promote the transformation of the traditional teaching mode of ancient expository texts and to provide strategic and theoretical guidance for the design of thematic teaching in unified junior high school ancient expository texts. This paper takes the unified middle school ancient expository text as the research object, adopts a broad definition of ancient expository text, and carries out the whole research process based on textual interrelationship theory, constructivist theory, and multiple intelligences theory.Through literature research method and case study method,we found that the ancient polemical texts in the unified middle school language textbooks have cultural and discursive values, but the teaching design of the ancient polemical texts in middle school does not fully point to the value orientation of the textbook selection, and there is an emphasis on "verbal form, fragmentary content, pedagogical monologue, and intellectual judgment",but not on"cultural standpoint, systematic experience, and intellectual judgment"."However, the design of teaching ancient discourses in junior high school is not fully oriented to the value orientation of the textbook selection.Based on these realistic grounds, this paper discusses the realistic values of the teaching design of the unified middle school ancient expository text in four aspects: teaching objectives, content, process, and evaluation, including promoting deeper cultural understanding, more engaging text experience, more advanced thinking development, and more continuous process guidance.Of course,in order to fully discover the value of the unified middle school ancient expository text topic teaching design, the ancient expository text topic design should follow the principles of multiple interpretations, content unification, task scaffolding, and multiple evaluations. In view of the current problems of ancient treatise teaching design, under the guidance of theory and principles, this paper argues that the unified junior high school ancient treatise topic teaching design highlights the topic characteristics, takes the topic as the leader, runs the topic through the whole teaching design link, and specifically proposes strategies in five aspects: topic selection, goal determination, content integration,task-driven,and teaching evaluation,in order to build the ancient treatise topic called set The teaching organization mode of "learning, evaluating and teaching" is integrated to provide a feasible teaching path for the teaching design of the ancient expository texts in the unified middle school language. On the basis of this, the teaching design of the ancient treatise is carried out around the topic of "Confucianism’s righteousness and profit",and the teaching strategies are elaborated in three aspects: the background of the topic design, the teaching objectives of the topic, and the teaching process of the topic,so as to put the teaching strategies into practice. |
