In September 2018,Chongqing,as one of the third batch of new college entrance examination reform pilot provinces and cities in my country,opened a new round of comprehensive reform of ordinary high schools.In April 2019,the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government issued the "Implementation Plan for the Comprehensive Reform of Chongqing City to Deepen the Admissions of General College Examination",which made a adjustment instructions on the selection of the college entrance examination.The selection mode of "3+1+2 " has a total of 12 combinations.Under new college entrance examination model,High school ideological and political discipline from the traditional liberal arts of the three compulsory subjects(ideological politics,history,geography)to one of the four optional subjects(ideological and political,geography,chemistry,biology).In recent years,the party and the country have attached great importance to the curriculum construction of Ideological and political theory courses.But high school ideological and political course,which is the key course of strengthen moral education and cultivating people,suffers considerable impact and influence under the new college entrance examination subject selection mode reform.Based on empirical research,this study analyzes and summarizes the current situation and influencing factors of ideological and political subject selection in high school under the "3+1+2" mode,Accordingly,teaching suggestions are put forward to the teachers of Ideological and political courses in order to promote the correct learning and rational examination selection of senior high school students,To meet the development requirements of ideological and political disciplines in the new era,It has certain theoretical value and practical significance to promote the smooth implementation of the reform of subject selection mode under the new college entrance examination.This study is based on in-depth interviews with 18 teachers and 36 students from three schools of different levels and types in Chongqing,1,628 students in the class of2023 from the three schools were surveyed,Based on the interview content and the analysis of questionnaire data,the research results of Ideological and political subject selection under the "3+1+2" mode of the new college entrance examination are obtained.In terms of current situation,The proportion of ideological and political electors increased compared with the previous period;The combination of ideological and political subjects is favored by students and parents;The degree of student satisfaction is considerable for ideological and political selection results;Students have higher understanding and recognition of the new college entrance examination subject selection mode;Ideological and political selection subject has high correlation with demographic background and significant difference;In terms of influencing factors,Learning interest,subject requirements,employment prospects,teaching style and parents’ opinions respectively refer to the primary influencing factors of individual dimension,school dimension,social dimension,teacher dimension and family dimension,Learning interest,learning confidence,subject requirements,employment prospects,subject achievements and competition levels are the six major influencing factors that affect students whether they choose ideological politics.Accordingly,It further draws two research conclusions: Opportunities and challenges in ideological and political disciplines under the new college entrance examination are coexist,Ideological and political selection is the result of the comprehensive effect of multi-factor factors.For front-line Ideological and political course teachers,four specific teaching suggestions are put forward,including adjusting teaching strategies,attaching importance to learning guidance,improving teaching evaluation and optimizing subject selection guidance.
