| Countries around the world continue to promote innovation capabilities as the trend of economic globalization accelerates,cultivating well-rounded talents to become the core strength of a country’s development.Science and technology are changing rapidly,and biotechnology is widely used in medical devices,agricultural production,food safety,environmental protection,etc in today’s association.Biological science plays an increasingly important role in promoting students’ overall development and cultivating core literacy along with the continuous promotion of quality education and curriculum reform.Students’ enthusiasm and initiative in learning are greatly reduced,and their scientific inquiry ability and scientific thinking habits are difficult to develop due to the problems of less class time,marginalization of the subject,difficulty in conducting experiments,and lack of attention from students.Association courses as the second classroom of biology are the main way for junior high school students to participate in practical inquiry.Students can get hands-on opportunities and learn to apply the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom to practical situations by participating in experimental activities of the association,which can deepen their understanding of knowledge as well as improve their expression level and practical operation.Therefore,it can effectively make up for the shortcomings of classroom teaching and further develop students’ scientific habits of mind,practical inquiry skills and basic biology literacy that to design association activities that connect with junior high school biology classrooms.Based on the "Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standards(2022Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education,this study adopts literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method,controlled experiment method and case study method to conducts an in-depth investigation on the design of experimental activities in the association that connect with junior high school biology classroom mainly from two lines of theoretical exploration and teaching practice.The article firstly focuses on the definition of core concepts,and describes the analysis of the current status of the research on biology classroom teaching and association curriculum in junior high school and the theoretical basis of the research.And then,it investigates the current situation of junior high school biology classroom teaching and the development of association experimental activities in Hefei from the perspectives of both teachers and students.Afterward,we Design Experimental activities of the association that connect to the middle school biology classroom follow the principles of safety of the experimental process,scientific content,diversification of activity forms and rationalization of activity design that around Junior high school biology seventh grade textbook(Su teaching version)and based on the research theory and the real situation.Finally,a practical study was conducted in the NO.48 Middle School Binhu Campus of Hefei to verify the role of association experimental activities in developing students’ scientific inquiry ability and scientific habits of mind.Combining the above measures,the main research results of this study are as follows:(1)96.77% of the students indicated that their level of interest in biology courses had become stronger after participating in a semester-long association’s program.(2)100% of the students thought that the biology association experimental activities had improved their practical ability of self-inquiry,and 77.42% of them thought it had improved a lot.(3)Students in the experimental group who had conducted experimental activities of the association association in classroom teaching were slightly better than the control group in terms of knowledge acquisition and experimental design.Therefore,activities of the association association that interface with the middle school biology classroom should focus on the following areas:(1)Respecting students’ preferences;(2)Promote students’ active learning by putting students at the root;(3)Activities are based on classroom materials,with a variety of activities;(4)Teaching in line with the student’s ability;(5)Focusing on the cultivation of practical skills of inquiry and scientific thinking;(6)Teachers and students are integrated and progress together.Through practical application,this study demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of association experimental activities that connect with junior high school biology classrooms to further enhance students’ practical inquiry skills and develop scientific habits of mind,and is expected to open up a new way of thinking for many junior high school biology teachers to implement core literacy in biology. |
