Ideological and political theory in colleges and universities is an important course to provide college students with the guidance of the spirit of the times and correct value orientation.The current new educational situation not only puts forward new goals for the educational efficiency of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,puts forward new requirements for teaching methods,but also poses new challenges to teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.As high-emotional workers,teachers play a decisive guiding role in the all-round development of college students.How to let college students correctly understand the social responsibilities they need to shoulder and the emotional trend of life,how to better cultivate socialist successors in line with the spirit of the times,and other issues are all in front of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.The research on the emotional labor of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities not only enriches the connotation of teachers’ emotional labor and emotional education,but also provides new ideas for improving the professional practice of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and also improves the educational mode of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.Explore the educational significance and realization path of emotional labor of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,stimulate the motivation of teachers to implement emotional labor,and form the emotional wisdom belonging to college teachers,which can better achieve the educational goals of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Therefore,the emotional labor of teachers plays an important role and educational significance in the emotional guidance of students and the improvement of the teaching effect of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and also promotes the construction of teachers.Starting from the development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,combined with the educational significance of teachers’ emotional labor and its realization path,it is found that emotional education in colleges and universities is a formality,college students’ ideological and political emotions weakened and lack of emotional cognition,as well as the current lack of attention to emotional labor by teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,resulting in teachers’ burnout,negative emotions are difficult to regulate,etc.,it is necessary to actively transform emotions through teachers,make good use of emotional labor strategies,increase emotional interaction with students,deepen moral emotions and create a good emotional environment,and form teachers,Students and schools work together to solve problems through methods and paths.
