| In the face of the impact of the epidemic and changes in the international situation,my country has proposed a new pattern of "dual circulation" development, with the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand, stimulating consumption as a means, and promoting the upgrading of the consumption structure as the goal, aiming to achieve high-quality economic growth in my country. However, there is still a problem of insufficient domestic demand in my country. The reason is that my country’s rural consumption potential has not been fully released, and the consumption structure of rural residents is unreasonable.Inclusive finance was once considered an effective measure to solve the problem of rural consumption in my country, but due to the problems of cost, efficiency and sustainability, its practical results were not ideal. With the vigorous development of digital technology, inclusive finance has been organically combined with it,and digital inclusive finance has emerged as the times require.Based on the above background, this paper, from the perspective of digital inclusive finance, closely combined with the connotation of rural residents’ consumption structure upgrading, and put the two into a framework to study the spatial effect of digital inclusive finance on rural residents’ consumption structure.First,by searching and intensively reading a large number of relevant documents at home and abroad, the theories related to digital inclusive finance and rural consumption structure are summarized, and based on the theory, the impact mechanism between the two is analyzed in detail.Second, based on the Peking University Digital Financial Inclusion Index, this paper summarizes the development status and trends of digital financial inclusion in my country, and introduces information entropy into the construction of rural consumption complexity as a criterion for judging the upgrading of my country’s rural residents’ consumption structure. The status quo of the upgrading of rural residents’ consumption structure.Third, conduct empirical research on it based on theory and status quo: collect panel data of digital financial inclusion index and rural consumption structure in 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020,and use spatial econometric spatial lag model, spatial error model and spatial duplication model. The binning model was used to regress the panel data, and the regression results of the spatial Doberman model were analyzed. The results show that:(1)Digital inclusive finance has a significant positive effect on the consumption upgrade of rural residents.(2)Digital financial inclusion and the upgrading of rural consumption structure have an agglomeration effect.(3)The development of digital inclusive finance has a positive spatial spillover effect on the upgrading of rural consumption structure.(4)The breadth of coverage, the depth of use, payment, and credit all have a positive role in promoting the upgrading of rural consumption structure, while the impact of insurance and digitalization on the upgrading of rural consumption structure is not statistically significant.Based on the conclusions obtained, combined with the current background, from accelerating the construction of rural digital financial infrastructure, strengthening the propaganda of digital inclusive finance in rural areas, actively expanding the coverage, depth of use, credit and other dimensions of digital inclusive finance, correct guidance The development of digital inclusive finance puts forward relevant policy suggestions in four aspects. |
