| "Ordinary high School Mathematics Curriculum Standards"(2017edition,2020 revision)clearly states that the training goal of ordinary high schools is to further improve the comprehensive quality of students and focus on the development of core literacy.Mathematical games are a good carrier to promote and cultivate students’ mathematical literacy.Using mathematical games to assist teaching can not only reduce the abstract degree of knowledge by using the fun and intuitiveness of the games themselves,so as to help students better understand,but also let students understand the excellent traditional mathematical culture of China,know the wisdom of the ancients,and increase students’ national pride.And then carry on the inheritance of excellent mathematics culture.The famous French mathematician Pascal also pointed out: "Mathematics is so serious that we should make it fun by all means." In recent years,the educational value of mathematical games has become increasingly prominent.However,the current situation of mathematical games integrating into high school mathematics teaching is not impressive,and most teachers do not skillfully apply game materials in class.Therefore,the application research of mathematical games integrating into high school mathematics teaching is very important.Based on the above research background and problems,this paper firstly uses literature research method to understand the research status of mathematical games integrated into high school mathematics teaching at home and abroad,introduces the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of mathematical games,provides theoretical support for the subsequent teaching design,and lists the corresponding types of mathematical games.Secondly,this paper analyzes the distribution of games in the People’s Education Press B Version(2019 edition)of high school mathematics textbooks for the first time,and introduces the functions of mathematical games--mathematical games help to stimulate students’ interest in learning,mathematical games help to spread excellent traditional culture,mathematical games help to improve students’ innovation ability,and mathematical games help to spread mathematical knowledge.Thirdly,questionnaire survey and interview were used to interview teachers and students in practice schools,so as to understand the current situation of mathematics games integrated into high school mathematics teaching.In view of the problems found in the investigation,the basic principles of integrating mathematical games into classroom teaching are summarized,and the contents of "Basic operation of set(I)","Preterms and formulas of geometric series" and "conditional probability(I)" are designed and developed in the People’s Education Press B Version of high school mathematics for human education.In this paper,for the first time,mathematical games which can be applied to high school mathematics teaching are collected into a material library.Finally,experimental research method is adopted to implement the designed teaching cases,which are supported by teachers and students.In conclusion,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)In the teaching materials of the People’s Education Press B Version(2019 edition),the mathematical game materials are mainly distributed in the equality and inequality part of the first compulsory volume;Compulsory Volume 3Statistics and Probability section;Compulsory Volume 4,Solid Geometry section;Elective part 2: Permutation,Combination and Binomial Theorem,Probability and Statistics;The third section is selected,and the other sections are less.(2)The selection of mathematical games should follow the basic principles,that is,be targeted,intuitive,interesting,and pay attention to the principle of full participation.(3)Through student questionnaires and teacher interviews,it is known that in some areas of Inner Mongolia,the current situation of integrating math games into high school math teaching is not ideal,and most teachers do not skillfully apply game materials in class.(4)At present,many math teachers have realized the significance of integrating math games into math teaching.However,due to many factors such as insufficient material reserve,insufficient time and no reference teaching cases,math games are not well applied into practice.Therefore,according to the actual needs,this paper excavates the matching mathematical game materials,designs part of the teaching cases,and carries out the implementation of the cases,and gets a good response.Through the results of research and practice,the integration of math games into high school math teaching has the following help for students:(1)Help to stimulate students’ interest in learning.(2)It is helpful to cultivate students’ logical thinking,improve their creative ability,and improve students’ core literacy in mathematics.(3)Reduce the abstractness of knowledge and help students better understand it through visual display of mathematical games.(4)Help students establish the connection between life and mathematics.(5)To understand the history and culture of mathematics and broaden students’ horizons.Based on the research conclusions,it is suggested that mathematical games should be integrated into high school mathematics teaching:(1)Teachers should improve their own reserves of mathematical game materials;(2)Teachers should understand the mathematical principles behind mathematical games and excellent traditional culture;(3)Teachers should improve their awareness of teaching innovation;(4)The selection of mathematical game materials should pay attention to the connection with life. |
