| With the accelerated innovation of new technologies such as artificial intelligence,big data,and blockchain,China has entered a new digital era.Data has become a national basic strategic resource and a new driving force for production.In order to meet the objective needs of the digital society for basic education personnel training,the Ministry of Education has issued the ’ Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022-year Edition)’,and information technology education has become an inevitable development.The curriculum standards aim to improve students ’ digital skills and cultivate digital talents that adapt to the times.As an important ability to cultivate digital talents,data thinking has received extensive attention from all walks of life.At the same time,the curriculum standards emphasizes that project-based learning,as an effective way and main teaching method to cultivate the development of thinking ability,has become the viewpoint of teaching practice.At present,current research in China focuses more on the cultivation of data thinking in higher education,which has not yet formed a research hotspot for primary and secondary schools,and lacks mature theoretical and practical guidance.Based on this,adopting project-based learning in primary school information technology teaching to enhance students’ data thinking ability has certain practical reference value.The research adopts literature research method,educational experimental research method,questionnaire survey method,and interview method,focusing on "how to better carry out project-based learning in primary school information technology teaching and improve students’ data thinking ability".The study was conducted in the information technology teaching of Grade 5 of Primary School in Q County,Hebei Province.Two classes were selected for educational experiments,with Scratch programming as the teaching content.The experimental class adopted project-based learning,while the control class carried out traditional teaching with lectures and demonstrations.A comprehensive evaluation analysis was conducted through four methods:questionnaire,learning task list,project evaluation form,and interview.The results showed that implementing project-based learning in primary school information technology teaching can enhance students’ learning enthusiasm,play the role of students as the main body,and enhance their awareness of cooperative exploration.At the same time,it has improved students’ data thinking ability and improved their ability to use data to solve problems.The main contents of the paper include: The first part puts forward the problem,mainly introduces the research background,method and current situation,and clarifies the significance and importance of the research.The second part analyzes the problem,defines the relevant concepts,and combs the relevant theoretical basis.The third part is to solve problems,develop a survey questionnaire on data thinking ability level,design project-based learning activity teaching design to cultivate data thinking ability,conduct educational experimental research,implement teaching practice,analyze experimental results,and finally conduct research summary and outlook. |
