| The Curriculum Standard of Physics in senior High School points out that the real purpose of education is to improve students’ ability to comprehensively apply knowledge to solve practical problems.However,in actual physics teaching,the knowledge taught to students is fragmentary and scattered,and they are passively accepted.It is difficult to integrate the knowledge independently.As a result,if students encounter real physical situations in life they do not know how to solve the problems.Physical concepts can internalize knowledge,form a systematic knowledge system,and guide problem solving."5E" teaching mode is conducive to the formation of physics concept.This paper carries out teaching practice research on the cultivation of high school students’ physics concept based on "5E" teaching mode,and mainly does the following four aspects of work.First,based on the theory of cognitive assimilation learning as well as the research of predecessors,a hierarchical model of "physical phenomena-physical concept laws-core concepts-physical concepts" is constructed,and then each level of teaching is carried out in turn through the "5E" teaching mode,and finally the teaching process of physical concept cultivation in the operable "5E" teaching mode is constructed.The contents of Chapter 9 and Chapter 10 of the 2019 edition of the Newcomer Textbook "General Physics Textbook" are studied,and the relevant content of each stage of the hierarchical model is sorted out.Second,in order to understand the current teaching status of physics concepts and the level of students’ physics concepts,through the interview method and questionnaire survey method,we have learned that teachers have a single teaching method of physics concepts,most teachers directly explaining concepts,and only 38.4% of them will introducing concept learning through some life phenomena and examples.Teachers’ awareness of inquiry needs to be improved,and only 23.1% of them will conduct inquiry.The overall level of students’ physics conception is low,with 47.4% at Level 2 and 37.9% at Level 3.Students’ ability to solve real physics problems needs to be improved.Third,according to the characteristics of each link of the "5E" teaching mode and the characteristics of the physical concept,the teaching principles of the cultivation of high school students’ physical concepts based on the "5E" teaching mode are proposed: the principle of gradual progression,the principle of student subjectivity,the principle of life,the principle of flexibility and diversity,and the corresponding teaching strategies of each link are designed according to the research of predecessors.Finally,three teaching cases,concerning the concept of matter-"electric charge",the concept of motion and interaction-"centripetal force",and the concept of energy-"law of conservation of mechanical energy",are designed.Fourth,by comparing the physical concept levels related to the students in the experimental class and the control class through the method of questionnaire survey,it is found that cultivating senior high school students’ physical concepts based on the "5E" teaching mode has a certain promoting effect on cultivating students’ physical concept level,and the effect on students at level2 and level 3 is more significant.There is no significant difference in the level of physical perception between boys and girls.There is a correlation between students’ level of physical conception and physics score,and there is a significant difference in physics concept level among students with different levels of physics score. |
