Core literacy is one of the focal points of China’s basic education curriculum reform.The specific contents of core literacy in the curriculum of different subjects at different levels of basic education are different.These include the concepts of matter,motion and interaction,energy and other elements.This paper takes the construction of the concept of energy,a fundamental cognition that permeates the whole of physics,as the starting point for a study of teaching design in senior secondary physics,which consists of four main parts.First is the background and theoretical basis of the study.The background of domestic and international research on the concept of energy is analysed,core literacy,physical concepts and energy concepts are defined,and the main ideas of the underlying theory are collated and summarised.In the second part,the system of the concept of energy is analysed and sorted out.On the basis of the analysis of the connotation of energy concepts,the content requirements of energy concepts in the general high school curriculum standards are analysed,and the knowledge content related to energy concepts in the human education version of the high school physics textbook is sorted out.By integrating the existing research results on the assessment of energy concepts and the academic level requirements in the curriculum standards,the basic standards corresponding to the various levels of energy concepts are proposed.The third part is about the principles of teaching and learning based on the concept of energy and the practice of designing teaching programmes.On the basis of the previous theoretical analysis and research,the principles of teaching design for high school physics based on the concept of energy are presented from three perspectives: teaching analysis,teaching objectives and teaching process,and two case studies of teaching design are presented for the sections "The Law of Conservation of Mechanical Energy" and "The Second Law of Thermodynamics " Two case studies of teaching design are presented,and their feasibility is verified through teaching practice.Finally,it serves as a summary and reflection of this study.This study has some reference value for the improvement of the teaching of first-line physics teachers in high schools,however,it can still be supplemented and improved in the future work.
