| In order to support the implementation of the "double reduction" policy and the requirements of mainstream ideological education,inherit the revolutionary spirit,cultivate patriotism and continue the red bloodline,schools and teachers are also looking for appropriate teaching resources and teaching methods,as stated in the 2022 edition of the History Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education,which states that teachers should actively make effective use of different curriculum resources.Thus,it can be seen that the development characteristics of today’s times have placed higher demands on the development of education.By developing the illustrated teaching materials of the historical heroes of the Gannan Soviet area and applying them rationally to the current teaching of secondary school history education and suggesting appropriate application suggestions and strategies,this is a new exploration of the development of educational curriculum resources under the new curriculum reform.This paper firstly introduces the definition of the core concept for heroic characters illustrated textbooks from the perspectives of heroic views of ancient and modern researchers,Marxist heroic views,and Xi Jinping’s heroic views in the new era,etc.Based on research ideas,clarifying the theoretical basis,and providing research theoretical support.Then,based on the overall analysis of the situation,necessity and role of the development of picture book teaching materials,combined with the analysis of student questionnaire and teacher interview data,the significance and value of the development of picture book teaching materials of historical heroes in the Gannan Soviet area.Then,according to the development steps,the preparation work,preparation practice,scope of application,and evaluation system are explained.In the preparation for development,the pre-development work is completed by selecting the topic,setting the objectives of curriculum development,formulating the writing principles,and then collecting materials.The step-by-step development process follows the design of the composition system of the history textbook,with the overall framework design of the illustrated textbook,the unit introduction and pre-class introduction,the main part of the text,and the post-class exercises,etc.In this process,the story of the Ningdu Uprising illustrated textbook is used as a model and adapted to present the content of the textbook completely.Afterwards,the "Ningdu Uprising" illustrated textbook is used as an example to put into concrete practice both in-class and out-of-class teaching.In the classroom,the case study was designed and detailed in conjunction with the teaching process of introduction,new teaching,and summary;outside the classroom,a variety of activities were designed to provide teachers with guidance for further teaching.During the development and implementation process,a multi-dimensional evaluation scale was designed to assess the effectiveness of the development and use of the picture book materials.Thus,the complete process of developing the teaching materials is presented.Finally,in view of the current situation in teaching and the problems that may exist in the use of picture book materials,we propose targeted suggestions for the use of picture book materials from both the teacher’s "teaching" and the student’s "learning" perspectives.By giving reasonable suggestions from the above two perspectives,we can effectively solve the problems that may exist in the teaching and learning process of illustrated textbooks,optimize the educational and teaching effects of illustrated textbooks,truly reduce the burden of students in learning,help improve the quality of secondary school history education and teaching,and achieve the educational requirements of establishing moral education. |
