| Sine and Cosine Theorem is a compulsory content of senior high school mathematics,it is an important tool to solve triangles,it is one of the compulsory contents of the college entrance examination,and it is also one of the contents required to be mastered by the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition).Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)puts forward the teaching requirements of "understanding concepts,grasping essence and clarifying arithmetic" in the implementation suggestion part,and emphasizes the importance of mathematics understanding.There are different levels of students’ mathematical understanding.Mastering students’ mathematical understanding level can better carry out teaching.It is of great significance to study students’ understanding level of sine and cosine theorem for the teaching of sine and cosine theorem.In this study,literature analysis,test papers and interviews were used to investigate and analyze the understanding level of sine and cosine theorems of senior one students.Therefore,it is of great significance to study students’ understanding level of sine and cosine theorem and its teaching.Based on SOLO’s classification theory,this study compiled a test paper on the understanding level of sine and cosine theorems for senior one students on the basis of analyzing the Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High School Mathematics(2017 edition)and the Compulsory Second Volume of Senior High School Mathematics(2019 edition).The test paper includes three dimensions: sine and cosine theorem itself,comprehensive application of sine and cosine theorem and proof of sine and cosine theorem.The students’ understanding level of sine and cosine theorem is analyzed through their answers.Combined with the test results,the students were interviewed.In addition,SPASS software is used to analyze whether there are differences in the understanding level between boys and girls in different dimensions,and whether there is a correlation between the dimensions.Finally,according to the main problems found in the research,corresponding teaching suggestions are given.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The number of students in Grade One of Senior High School who have reached level 4 in the sine and cosine theorem itself accounts for 65% of the total number,and the number of students who have reached level 4 or above in the comprehensive application dimension of sine and cosine theorem accounts for 55% of the total number.In other words,there are still many students who have not met the requirements of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition).The number of students who have reached level 4 in the proof dimension of sine and cosine theorems only accounts for 27% of the total number of students tested,which shows that most students’ understanding of the proof of sine and cosine theorems is still relatively low,which does not meet the requirements of the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition).2.From the perspective of gender,there are significant differences between students of different genders in the comprehensive application of sine and cosine theorem and the proof of sine and cosine theorem,and the understanding level of boys in these two dimensions is higher than that of girls;There is no significant difference in the understanding level of sine and cosine theorem itself among students of different sexes.3.Through correlation analysis,it is found that there is a correlation between students’ understanding level of the proof of positive congruence theorem and students’ understanding level of the comprehensive application of sine and cosine theorem,and there is also a correlation between students’ understanding level of the proof of positive congruence theorem and students’ understanding level of sine and cosine theorem itself.In order to solve the problem of students’ overall low understanding level in all dimensions,it is suggested that teachers should pay attention to the explanation of knowledge sources and the review of related knowledge;In order to solve the problem that students lack interest and confidence in learning sine and cosine theorem,it is suggested that teachers can reasonably evaluate students according to their understanding level and enrich teaching methods;Finally,it is suggested that teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ good study habits. |
