Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays,mathematics,as an important part of middle school teaching activities,has made the field of history of mathematics and mathematics education researches develop rapidly in the world.More and more scholars and researchers have been no longer limited to theoretical research,but focused on classroom teaching practice,and turned their focus to the research and development of HPM teaching cases.Sine theorem and cosine theorem are important theorems to explore the quantitative relationship between triangle edge length and angle.They are also one of the key contents of high school mathematics teaching.And in actual measurement,sine theorem and cosine theorem play an important role in some measurement problems such as distance,height and angle.Based on the existing research,this paper selected sine theorem and cosine theorem teaching as the carrier,carried out teaching design research in the perspective of HPM,and developed HPM teaching cases.This paper sorted out the development history of HPM,the research status of HPM and its application in middle school teaching practice,combed the historical development of sine theorem and cosine theorem,and selected six classes of two key high schools to carry out comparative study of sine theorem and cosine theorem practice teaching,where three classes with HPM case teaching and the other three with normal teaching according to textbooks.The influence of HPM cases teaching on students’ knowledge understanding level,emotion,attitude and values was explored.This paper adopted a variety of research methods including literature analysis,questionnaire survey,etc.Through literature analysis,the strategies and ways of integrating the history of mathematics into sine theorem and cosine theorem were clarified.Through questionnaires survey,students’ understanding and mastery of knowledge,and their attitudes towards mathematics teaching from the perspective of HPM were understood.Through quantitative analysis of data and qualitative analysis of experimental results,the actual effect of HPM case teaching was evaluated.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: By comparing and analyzing,it is found that students who adopt HPM teaching method have a significantly higher understanding level of knowledge than normal teaching.HPM teaching helps students form positive emotions,attitudes and values in mathematics learning.
