data, and statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, difference analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis are used to analyze the data, and combined with the interview data, the current status and influencing factors of the homework management ability of junior high school students are deeply explored. It is found that:(1)the current homework management level of junior high school students is at the middle and upper level, the average value of emotional management and environmental management is high and equal, and the level of students’ homework strategy and time in different family economic conditions, whether they were left-behind children, and fathers’ different educational qualifications. There was a significant difference in the homework management of junior high school students in terms of mother’s education, and the homework management of junior high school students whose mother’s education was high school was significantly higher than that of their mother’s junior high school, and there was no significant difference between other educational qualifications of the mother. There were also significant differences in the homework management of junior high school students in different marital statuses, and the homework management of junior high school students from non-original families was significantly higher than that of junior high school students from original families.(3)In terms of different individual characteristics, there were no significant differences in homework management of junior high school students in different genders, different grades, and whether they were only children. There are significant differences in homework management among junior high school students at different grade levels, and the better the influenced by the design of assignments by teachers and the amount of assignments,as well as parental support.According to the above findings, combined with the existing problems of homework management of junior high school students and the importance of homework management of junior high school students to students’ academic performance, this study proposes strategies to promote the improvement of homework management of junior high school students from the aspects of teachers, parents, students and home-school communication:(1)teachers should arrange a reasonable number of homework, design homework in a personalized way,and timely feedback students’ learning situation;(2)Parents should pay attention to students’ learning, attach importance to students’ learning, provide material and emotional help, avoid excessive intervention in homework supervision, and guide students to manage independently;(3)Students should fully recognize the importance of homework in checking and filling gaps, and the important role that homework plays in improving grades;(4)Teachers and parents should strengthen home-school communication, communicate in a timely manner about students’ learning situation, understand students’ learning dynamics, and timely discover and solve problems. |
