Research On The Influencing Factors Of Academic Integrity Of Master’s Degree Students In Local Universities

Academic integrity has always been a hot topic in academia.In recent years,academic integrity crisis,academic misconduct phenomenon occurs frequently,these problems are restricting the improvement of the quality of postgraduate training and the promotion of good social atmosphere and academic atmosphere.Therefore,this study aims to explore the current situation of academic integrity of master’s students in local colleges and universities and its influencing factors,not only deepening the connotation of academic integrity of theoretical significance,but also to improve the level of academic integrity of master’s students in local colleges and universities,promote the reform of college education and purify the social atmosphere to provide countermeasures and suggestions,so as to improve the quality of master’s education,cultivate more innovative talents,has practical value.By combing relevant literature at home and abroad,this study builds a theoretical model of the factors influencing the academic integrity of master students.In this paper,538 valid questionnaires were collected from the full-time master’s students of N University,and the influencing factors and mechanism of academic integrity of master’s students in local universities were analyzed by statistical analysis.Through factor analysis,path analysis and other methods,this paper explores the mechanism of different influencing factors on academic integrity of local university master students.The results show that: first,the academic integrity level of master students in local universities is restricted by many factors;Second,the academic integrity of local university master students needs to be improved;Thirdly,there are significant differences in academic integrity among master students with different backgrounds.Fourth,academic interest is the key factor affecting academic integrity;Fifth,individual pressure has a significant negative impact on academic integrity.Sixth,the negative social atmosphere has a significant negative impact on academic integrity;Seventh,organizational restraint is the main factor affecting academic integrity;Eighth,learning involvement is an important factor affecting the level of academic integrity,and plays a mediating role in the influence of "academic interest","personal pressure","organizational restraint" and "negative social atmosphere" on "academic integrity".Therefore,this study puts forward the following countermeasures: at the social level,first,strengthen the construction of social morality,purify the social atmosphere;Second,standardize the publication system of academic achievements,fair and just selection;Third,give full play to the advantages of the network to control the academic misconduct of master students.At the level of colleges and universities,first,reform the construction of academic integrity system in local colleges and universities to build institutional advantages;Second,strengthen the construction of the tutor team,give full play to the academic and moral leading role;Third,optimize the academic environment and create a good style of study;Fourthly,improve the master training system and construct a diversified evaluation system.At the personal level,firstly,establish correct values and cultivate lofty academic ideals;Second,coordinated development of body and mind to reasonably relieve pressure;Third,improve the level of study commitment,cultivate academic interest.
