National security is an important cornerstone of national stability.Geography has both natural and humanistic attributes,which is highly consistent with the content and requirements of national security education.It is an important carrier to practice national security education and cultivate students ’ overall national security concept.However,through investigation,it is found that the cultivation of national security awareness in junior high school geography teaching is not ideal at this stage.As a medium carrying the educational value of geography curriculum and a tool for inheriting geographical knowledge,geography textbooks directly affect the educational effect of geography classroom teaching.Therefore,it is of great significance to excavate the convergence point between geography textbooks and national security education,clarify and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of existing textbooks and materials,and promote the integration of national security education into curriculum and campus.Based on the overall national security concept,the theory of moral development stage and the constructivist learning theory,this study adopts the content analysis method and the quantitative evaluation method,takes the junior high school geography textbook published by Guangdong Education Press as the research object,synthesizes the subject education requirements of the "Guidelines for National Security Education in Primary and Secondary Schools " and the "Geography Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)," and relies on the more mature domestic general textbook evaluation system.Based on the in-depth analysis of the text composition characteristics of geography textbooks,combined with the psychological development characteristics and cognitive laws of junior high school students,the dynamic and static combination path of literature research and investigation research is adopted.The evaluation index of national security education that reflects the characteristics of the text of geography textbooks and adapts to the psychological development law of junior high school students is selected,and the national security content in geography textbooks is measured and analyzed from both quantity and quality.On this basis,the evaluation index system of the embodiment degree of national security education is constructed,and the weight of indicators at all levels is further determined by combining group decision-making method and AHP analytic hierarchy process.Based on the content structure of curriculum standards,the embodiment degree of national security education in junior high school geography textbooks of Guangdong Education Press is quantitatively evaluated.The research shows that :(1)Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of national security education in junior high school,it is found that the national security awareness and prevention ability of teachers and students are generally weak,the national security literacy is low,and the integration of geography teaching and national security education is not high.Secondly,based on the principles of systematicness,scientificity,purposiveness and operability,this paper constructs the content and standard of the evaluation index system of national security education in junior high school geography textbooks from the aspects of breadth and relevance,and determines the evaluation index and weight distribution of each level by means of expert consultation and AHP analytic hierarchy process.(3)Using the index system constructed in this study to quantitatively evaluate the degree of national security education in junior high school geography textbooks published by Guangdong Education Press,it is found that the scores of national security education in ’ knowing the world ’ and ’ knowing the region ’ are 60.57 and 63.19,respectively.The comprehensive score of geography textbooks published by Guangdong Education Press is only 62.71,and the overall level is only passing,indicating that the integration of existing textbooks and national security education is not enough.(4)This study puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of the utilization and development of textbook resources,and designs corresponding teaching case demonstrations according to the characteristics and shortcomings of textbooks,in order to provide reference for national security education ’ entering junior high school geography curriculum ’.
