Research On The Integration Of Chinese Traditional Festival Culture Into College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

The excellent traditional Chinese culture reflects the national characteristics and style,representing the spirit of a country and a nation.The prosperity of culture is closely related to the fate of the country and the nation,and has also become a measure of a country’s comprehensive national strength.In 2014,in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the National Symposium on Literary and Art Work,he pointed out that the excellent traditional Chinese culture is the spiritual lifeline of the Chinese nation and an important source of cultivating socialist core values.With the continuous development of economy and technology in various countries,and against the backdrop of multiculturalism,cultures from all over the world have begun to be imported into China.More and more young people are enthusiastic about celebrating Western festivals,and Western holiday culture has also rapidly spread in China.College students are increasingly inclined to participate in Western holiday activities such as Christmas,Valentine’s Day,and Halloween.Their enthusiasm towards Western festivals contrasts sharply with their indifference towards traditional Chinese festivals,seriously affecting the core values of contemporary teenagers.If we want to continue to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,we need to leverage the promotional function of Chinese traditional festivals,use Chinese traditional festival activities to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and let Chinese culture go abroad and go global.Through a preliminary study of the culture of Chinese traditional festivals,this paper selects the Spring Festival,Yuanxiao(Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival)Festival,Tomb sweeping Day,Dragon Boat Festival,Qixi Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival,and Double Ninth Festival as the research objects,and analyzes the importance of integrating Chinese traditional festival culture into ideological and political education.Subsequently,based on the psychological characteristics of contemporary college students,a survey questionnaire was used to analyze the current situation of the impact of traditional Chinese festival culture on ideological and political education,and further analyze the problems and reasons for the integration of traditional Chinese festival culture into ideological and political education.Finally,based on the above analysis,the path of integrating traditional Chinese holiday culture into ideological and political education for college students is summarized in conjunction with the characteristics of Chinese university education.In response to the above analysis results,this article proposes three implementation paths: improving the content of traditional festival culture education,attaching great importance to the educational value of traditional festival culture,and taking multiple measures to enhance the awareness of educating people in all aspects of society.We hope to use the ideological and political education resources contained in traditional Chinese festival culture to organically integrate it with the ideological and political education of college students,Exploring the theoretical and practical significance of ideological and moral construction for college students.I hope that through the research in this article,we can stimulate the enthusiasm of Chinese people for traditional festivals,actively learn the cultural connotations of Chinese traditional festivals,and encourage more and more college students to participate in activities to inherit and promote Chinese traditional culture,helping to build China’s socialist core values.
