Scale is the key meaning of geography,and scale thinking is a geographical idea developed from the core concept of "scale",which is one of the basic ideas of geography.The idea of scale is rooted in the essence of geography and has unique value for cultivating students’ core literacy in geography.Geography textbooks are the main carrier of geography knowledge and skills,and also an important tool for the cultivation of geography thinking.At present,the new curriculum standards and new textbooks have not been released recently,and this paper focuses on the embodiment of scale ideas in high school geography textbooks,which can provide strong support for relevant theoretical research and front-line teaching practice.The paper mainly includes seven chapters: first,with the help of literature review,understand the current research status at home and abroad,and determine the research direction and path of this paper;Second,clarify the core concepts,namely "scale" and "scale thinking",and clarify the theoretical basis of this research;Thirdly,the dimensional division of the current scale thinking research is sorted out and selected,and it is believed that the geographical scale thinking of middle school mainly includes scale division,scale effect,scale association,and scale transformation,and elaborates them separately.Fourth,taking the main dimensions of scale thinking and scale thinking in geography curriculum standards as the practical basis,and taking the analysis theory of geography textbooks as the theoretical basis,a statistical analysis scale of scale ideas in high school geography textbooks is constructed.Fifth,based on the scale,the content points of the high school geography textbooks embodying the scale idea of the human education version and the Chinese map version are quantitatively counted,and the comparative analysis is carried out from the level of whole,book-by-book,category by category and expression form,and their respective characteristics are summarized.Sixth,according to the research results,suggestions are put forward on the use of scale ideological content in geography textbooks;Finally,the conclusions and shortcomings of this study are summarized,and the research prospects are proposed.The main conclusions of this study are:First,the analysis of the geographical scale idea of the general high school geography curriculum standard(revised in 2017 version in 2020)shows that its basic concept,subject core literacy,curriculum structure,and course content all contain scale thinking,among which the course content part contains rich scale ideas,mainly including scale division,scale effect,scale association and scale transformation.Second,the comparative analysis of the two versions of high school geography textbooks reflecting the idea of scale.Based on the construction of the scale,a comparative study is carried out from the level of whole,volume,category by category and expression form,and the basic characteristics of the scale idea are summarized.Third,based on the analysis of the embodiment of scale thinking in the two versions of high school geography textbooks,this paper puts forward several suggestions for geography teachers to better use the textbooks to cultivate students’ geographical scale thinking: deeply understand the connotation of scale thinking and improve the cognitive ability of scale thinking;Carefully excavate the ideological content of the textbook,and be good at "teaching with teaching materials";Focus on image systems and improve scale representation.In short,based on the scale idea,this paper compares and studies the high school geography textbooks of the People’s Education Edition and the Chinese Picture Edition,summarizes the corresponding content points of the two versions of the textbooks,summarizes their characteristics,and puts forward suggestions on the use of the scale ideological content in the textbooks,in order to enrich the theoretical research of the current scale thinking in the textbooks and provide some reference for high school geography teachers to better use the geography textbooks.
