In the new era,labor education pays more attention to the realization of educational values and the cultivation of labor literacy.Promoting the integration of labor education is an important way to ensure the effective implementation of labor education.The secondary school stage is in the middle stage of the labor education integration system,which is not only the further development of the primary school stage,but also connects secondary vocational schools or higher education institutions.It occupies an important position in the overall integration pattern and is a key link in the labor education integration.Guided by system theory and iceberg model theory,this study established the constituent dimensions of labor literacy based on the analysis of literature and policy documents,and developed corresponding research tools.Through questionnaire and interview methods,it conducted an investigation of the current situation of the cultivation of labor literacy among middle school students,in-depth analysis of current problems and causes,and then proposed improvement suggestions for the cultivation of labor literacy at the secondary school stage.The research shows that the overall situation of cultivating middle school students’ labor literacy at present is that the level of labor concept has a deep understanding of labor connotation and labor value,the level of labor ability has the ability to daily life,the quality of labor is not high,the level of labor habits and quality self-evaluation is high,and there is a high awareness of the value of labor spirit.The main problem is that there is a deviation in the actual value orientation of labor concepts,The development of labor capacity structure is uneven,labor habits and quality cultivation need to be strengthened,and labor spirit needs to be deepened in practice.The main reasons for these problems are: the cultivation of labor literacy is not really valued at the conceptual level,the implementation of measures to cultivate the main body’s labor literacy is not in place,and the coordination and security mechanism is not perfect.Aiming at the problems and reasons of cultivating middle school students’ labor literacy,this study proposes the following countermeasures: First,concept guidance,creating a cultural ecological environment that advocates labor;Second,process implementation,multi agent collaborative promotion of labor literacy training;Third,mechanism guarantee,coordinating and ensuring the steady progress of labor and people.
