Research On The Relationship Between Strategic Emerging Industries And Manufacturing Industries Based On Input-Output Method

At present,China’s manufacturing industry,as a national pillar industry,has maintained a good development trend.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,China’s status as a major manufacturing country has been further consolidated.With the vigorous development of manufacturing industry,the requirements of its development quality are also gradually improving.At the same time,it puts forward new requirements for building intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing.In the process of transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry,strategic emerging industries play a major role.Therefore,the research on the relationship between strategic emerging industries and manufacturing industry meets the current political requirements.The main concern of this paper is the strategic emerging industries that are still in the development stage despite high expectations under the background of intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing,Is the structure balanced in the process of integration with the manufacturing industry? Who takes the initiative in the interaction between the two industries? And to what extent do strategic emerging industries assume the supporting role of industrial linkages in the national economy? This provides a practical basis for the transformation and upgrading strategy of manufacturing industry in Beijing Tianjin Hebei,the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta,and seizes a new commanding height for the development of manufacturing industry.Based on the data of the strategic relationship between the investment and output of the three major cities in the Pearl River Delta and the emerging cities in the Pearl River Delta in2017.In the research process,this paper uses the traditional input-output method to measure the correlation structure,and uses the form of weight addition to measure the correlation mode between the two industries.On this basis,this paper introduces the virtual elimination method(HEM)as a new research paradigm to measure the correlation strength between industries,mainly highlighting the support strength of strategic emerging industries to the industrial correlation of the national economy.The results are as follows:(1)in the process of mutual integration of strategic emerging industries and manufacturing industries,strategic emerging industries rely too much on the investment and demand of manufacturing industry,thus showing an unbalanced integration structure.(2)The industry driven correlation mode formed between strategic emerging industries and manufacturing industry is significant,but in the urban agglomeration of Beijing Tianjin Hebei,Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta,Beijing Tianjin Hebei Urban Agglomeration is mainly driven by strategic emerging industries,while the urban agglomeration of Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta is mainly driven by manufacturing industry.Generally speaking,the driving effect is relatively weak.(3)Strategic emerging industries,which play an important role in the transformation of manufacturing industry in the industry association network,have a significant degree of association,and steadily promote the green and intelligent development of manufacturing industry.Among them,high-end equipment manufacturing,new energy,new materials and information technology are the mainstay forces to promote the green and intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry.The manufacturing industry of Beijing Tianjin Hebei,Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations is in a critical transition period.The correlation characteristics between strategic emerging industries and manufacturing industries in each province of the current three major urban agglomerations revealed in this paper will provide specific reference basis for promoting the intelligent and green transformation of manufacturing industry and putting forward the development policy of industrial structure,so as to seize the opportunity of industrial development in the future,Cultivate leading and pillar industries.
