Education,the foundation of a 100-year plan.In recent years,the teaching and learning reform in our country is in full swing,and the reform of mathematics teaching is no exception.The people trained by education should have comprehensive qualities and comprehensive abilities,which provides a direction for our educational reform.In2014,the Ministry of Education’s Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Establishing Virtue and Educating People proposed to study and develop a system of core qualities for student development at all levels and in all subjects,i.e.the necessary character and key competencies that students should possess to adapt to the needs of lifelong development and social development.The six core literacies of mathematical abstraction,mathematical modelling,data analysis,logical reasoning,intuitive imagination and mathematical operations are also explicitly stated in the General Senior Secondary Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition).However,in the current teaching of mathematics,especially in the teaching of mathematical concepts,there are problems such as "emphasizing fractions and neglecting processes" and neglecting the cultivation of students’ core literacy.Therefore,it is very necessary to optimize the teaching methods and approaches of high school mathematics concept courses,improve the teaching efficiency of mathematics concept courses,and focus on cultivating students’ core literacy.The thesis contains a total of six sections as follows:Part 1: Introduction.This part introduces the research content of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the research methods used and the current status of the research,etc.It briefly describes the feasibility of the research.Part 2: Literature Review.This section mainly contains two contents;The first is the current state of research;This paper expounds the research status of mathematics core literacy,mathematical concept teaching and mathematics concept courses under core literacy.The second is the definition of concepts and related theoretical foundations.This paper lays a theoretical foundation for the research of this paper.Part 3: A survey of the present situation of senior high school mathematics concept teaching.On the basis of the literature study,a questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted with students in the internship schools to understand the current situation of learning mathematics concept classes,interviews with teachers to understand the current situation of teaching mathematics concept classes,and data processing of the survey results to analyse the shortcomings in teaching mathematics concept classes.This will provide a basis for the subsequent exploration of teaching strategies.Part 4: Case analysis of senior high school mathematics concept teaching based on core literacy.Through listening to lessons during the internship,four mathematics concept lessons were selected for case studies,namely The Concept of Function,The Concept of Exponential Function,The Standard Equation of Ellipse and The Concept of Plane Vector,and the cases were analysed from the perspective of enhancing students’ core literacy.Part 5:Based on the core literacy of high school mathematics concept teaching strategies.Through the problems reflected in the previous study,corresponding teaching strategies are then proposed: adopting multimedia teaching to enhance students’ core literacy,tapping into the culture of mathematical concepts to promote the development of core literacy in mathematics,grasping concepts as a whole to build a knowledge system,conducting in-depth research to grasp the essence of concepts,and improving the efficiency of practice by drawing on one example.Part 6:Summary and outlook.This section mainly includes the gains of this study and the shortcomings of the study.
