Education is paying more and more attention to cultivating students ’ ability of information integration,problem solving and problem migration in the new era.The transformation of classroom teaching is conducive to the transformation from knowledge-based education to literacy-based education.Big idea teaching can guide students to understand the essential relationship between subject knowledge,exercise students ’ ability to transfer knowledge in real situations,and help achieve literacy goals.For big ideas,especially the big idea of mathematics,relying solely on a single or independent class teaching cannot better help students form a holistic and systematic knowledge view.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out unit teaching under the guidance of big ideas.Trigonometric function is a typical basic elementary function,and it is also an important part of the knowledge block of middle school mathematics function.It is of great benefit for learning other knowledge blocks to fully grasp the mathematical ideas and methods contained in its knowledge structure.This paper takes the trigonometric function chapter as an example to carry out unit teaching research,constructs the big idea system of trigonometric function unit,designs specific unit teaching process and carries out teaching practice and effect test.The overall layout of the thesis is as follows :The first and second chapters of the thesis elaborate the research background and significance,refine the research methods and ideas,and analyze the necessity and feasibility of integrating big ideas into unit teaching from the perspective of teaching theory.On the basis of theoretical research,the third chapter of the paper takes students of senior one as the research object to conduct a questionnaire survey.With the help of SPSS20.0,the exploratory factor analysis of the feedback data is carried out to divide the questionnaire questions into three dimensions(that is,the students ’ understanding of the big idea of function,the students ’ migration ability and learning attitude),and then master the students ’ learning status about the big idea of function.In view of the current problems of students,the fourth and fifth chapters of the thesis first construct the big idea system of trigonometric function unit,and then design the unit teaching process,class teaching plan and carry out teaching practice with the guide of big ideas.The sixth chapter of the thesis tests the students ’ learning effect through unit test,and uses SPSS20.0 to sort out and analyze the test data.The research results show that the trigonometric function unit teaching guided by big ideas can improve the learning efficiency of students ’ trigonometric function knowledge to a certain extent so that students can initially establish a holistic and systematic trigonometric function knowledge view,and students’ awareness of knowledge application and application ability are also enhanced.
