| Based on the importance of higher education to lifelong sports awareness and health first,it is urgent to improve the physical activity of college students. For this reason,“exploring the factors influencing the physical activity of college students” has become a hot topic in higher education and public health. With the deepening of research, the relationship between individual living environment and physical activity has gradually attracted academic attention.Based on the above background,in order to improve the physical activity of college students, this study aims to explore the relationship between college environment and college students’ physical activity, and analyze the prediction path of college environment on physical activity,in order to inspire universities to formulate strategies to promote college students’ physical activity.Firstly, this study integrates the five-level model of social ecology,self-determination theory and self-efficacy theory by using the literature data method, and constructs a theoretical model of the influence path of school environment on the physical activity of college students.Secondly, the questionnaire method is used to collect data and improve the questionnaire; Finally, the structural equation model is used to test the significance of the hypothetical path in the theoretical model. The direct effect analysis results are: first, the external environment of colleges and universities(policy environment, built environment, physical education ecological environment, interpersonal support environment)cannot directly predict the physical activity of college students;Second, the external environment of colleges and universities can directly predict the satisfaction of college students’ basic psychological needs, based on the five-level ecological model, the more the outer environment, the worse the ability to predict the satisfaction of college students’ basic psychological needs. There are three results of the mediation effect.first, the path “external environment→ basic psychological needs satisfaction→ motivational autonomy→ self-efficacy → college students’ physical activity”,and the path “external environment→ basic psychological needs satisfaction→ self-efficacy→college students’ physical activity” are established.Second, the path “external environment→ basic psychological needs satisfaction→ motivational autonomy→ college students’ physical activity” is not established.Third, the interpersonal support environment of colleges and universities alone can predict the physical activity of college students through self-efficacy,and the mediating effect of this path is much greater than that of other paths. The results of the moderating effect analysis were as follows: the structure of physical activity could regulate the predictive effect of self-efficacy on the physical activity of college students, and the higher the proportion of leisure physical activity, the better the ability of self-efficacy to predict the physical activity. The conclusions and suggestions of this study are:(1)the external environment of colleges and universities cannot directly predict the physical activity of college students, and the improvement of physical activity is a systematic work, and it is recommended that colleges and universities learn from the project system of multi-department cooperation to manage physical and health education;(2)Basic psychological needs satisfaction and self-efficacy have important mediating value in the prediction path of college environment, and it is recommended that colleges and universities pay attention to students’ self-confidence and competence in controlling physical activity behavior when conducting physical and health education;(3)The interpersonal support environment has the greatest predictive value for college students’ physical activity, and it is recommended that schools organize collective sports activities or competitions to awaken individuals’ recognition of physical activity by creating a "physical activity community".Finally, although this study strictly follows the empirical research paradigm, there are still two limitations: first, the sample of this study has certain limitations, and the number of college students in Sichuan Province is slightly higher than that in other provinces among the interviewees;Second, the impact path may not be fully detailed,so further analysis of the possible path relationship is required in subsequent research to improve the model proposed in this study. |
