| By means of video observation,literature review,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this paper studies the tactical characteristics of high position oppression of each team in 29 matches of the last 16 European Champions League(hereinafter referred to as "the Champions League")in2020-2021.Firstly,it is proven through data that this tactic has become a commonly used defensive tactic in high-level football teams;Secondly,from three levels: the relationship between ball control rate and high pressure frequency,the relationship between high pressure frequency and high pressure success rate,and the relationship between high pressure success rate and game win or loss,the reasons why high pressure tactics have become important tactics are deduced;Subsequently,from the dimensions of tactical application time period,area,and method,from the frequency of tactical application,success rate,and goal conversion rate,we strive to summarize their advantage strategies and verify whether each team has achieved maximum tactical utility.The main conclusions are as follows:1)High pressure has become an important defensive tactic for high-level football teams in today’s world football.2)The data shows that the number of high pressure presses is positively correlated with ball control rate,high pressure success rate,and game victory rate.3)The data shows that 1-15 minutes is the time period with the highest number of high-altitude compressions,but the success rate of tactical application is the highest in 30-45 minutes,which is significantly different from other time periods.And the duration of completing tactics is mostly within "5 seconds".Although the sum of areas in Zone A and Zone C is significantly lower than that in Zone B,the sum of usage times and success rates in Zone A and Zone C are higher than those in Zone B,showing a significant difference.However,the goal conversion rate through implementing high pressure in Zone B is higher than that in Zones A and C.Man to man defense strategy is the most commonly used high pressure method,but blocking the line is a higher success rate method.4)The number of goals directly achieved through high pressure was 12,accounting for 15.58% of the total goals scored in this tournament;However,the high pressure defense directly converted the goal rate to 1.20%,which is not high. |
