| The Champions League has the best football coaches and players in the world,so the technical and tactical characteristics displayed on the field are also among the best in the world.It represents the future trend of the game and the application of technical and tactical features.Chelsea’s 2020-21 season has been the highlight of the Uefa Champions League,attracting a lot of attention from football people around the world.This paper takes the 13 matches of Chelsea in the 2020-2021 Uefa Champions League as the case study,and adopts the methods of literature,video observation,mathematical statistics,expert interview,logical analysis and other research methods to study the characteristics of Chelsea’s offensive tactics when scoring goals.This research mainly around the Chelsea in the champions league match results of research,research on basic conditions of the coaches and athletes,the games used in the squad and the study of formation characteristics,attacking a stage in the game tactical characteristics,offensive tactics characteristics of liquid phase and score a goal tactical stages of research aspects of characteristics,So as to enrich the theoretical system of attacking tactics of Chinese football.An analysis of Chelsea’s 13 Champions League matches yielded the following results:The research conclusions are as follows:（1）Superior squad thickness is a strong factor in Chelsea’s victory.Under the influence of the outbreak,the team’s overall level of training will be affected by certain interference,this will cause certain influence to the player’s fitness,also increase the risk of the injured players,but as many as 24 players in the number of the champions league appearances,making the team in terms of rotation player with ease,every game can send status of the best players in the competition.（2）The highly targeted formation reflects the coach’s rich tactical reserve.The coach perfectly illustrates the use of three central defenders in modern football,and his3-4-2-1 formation can be used in different ways and with different effects against different opponents.（3）Level attack and fast attack play a major role in the attack mode.The hierarchy attack is Chelsea’s main attacking method,and the excellent combination of small crosses ensures the lower limit of the hierarchy attack.The excellent defensive ability is the guarantee of Chelsea’s fast attack tactics;The centre is Chelsea’s favourite area of attack,while the right is more likely to attack than the left.（4）High-quality cross coordination and emphasis on the speed of attack is a powerful guarantee for the team to win the championship.The extreme pursuit of possession rate does not necessarily lead to victory.Chelsea’s possession rate is lower than its opponents in more than half of the matches.The key to Chelsea’s attacking tactics was to give up possession properly,to counter attack quickly with solid defence and to suddenly increase the tempo of the attack. |
