The fundamental idea of the new curriculum reform is to take the lifelong development of students as the guidance,improve students’ comprehensive ability and creative vitality,innovate exam-oriented education and promote quality education has become the key to the reform of basic education.High school ideological and political class due to the theoretical knowledge is complex,the content is numerous and abstract,teachers must be based on the reality of students,improve their own teaching ideas,update teaching methods,to achieve the "happy to teach" political class.Debate teaching is to apply "debate" to political classroom teaching,teachers need to create scenarios,closely follow the content of teaching materials to design debates,in order to maximize the comprehensive effect of multi-dimensional functions of classroom teaching,so that students’ initiative can be highlighted,thinking can be expanded,not only implement the core literacy of the subject,but also promote the development of new activity-based classrooms,and embody the spirit of the new curriculum reform.Based on the research conducted during the internship,the author analyzes the effectiveness and problems of debate teaching in the current high school ideological and political courses,and proposes strategies to better apply them to high school political teaching.In the first part,combined with relevant research,the new exploration of debate teaching is carried out,the difference between debate teaching and debate competition and discussion teaching is analyzed,the characteristics of debate teaching are sorted out,and the theoretical basis of debate teaching applied to high school ideological and political courses is discussed from two aspects: value clarification theory and recent development area theory.In the second part,the author analyzes the current situation of debating teaching in high school ideological and political courses,and concludes that although the debating teaching in high school ideological and political courses has gradually attracted attention,there are some problems for both teachers and students in the concrete practice of using debating teaching in class.For example,in the preparation stage of debating teaching,the definition of the topic is not clear,and the design of the topic is unreasonable;In the implementation stage of debating teaching,students’ participation is not high and teachers’ organization is not complete.In the summary stage of the debating teaching,the evaluation subject is not diversified and the teaching evaluation is not timely.On this basis,the causes of these problems are analyzed,which lays a foundation for the strategy research of the application of the debating teaching in high school ideological and political lessons.In the third part,aiming at the current situation of using debating teaching in high school ideological and political courses,combined with specific teaching cases,the principles and strategies of using debating teaching in high school ideological and political courses are proposed.First,this paper analyzes the principles of debating teaching in high school ideological and political courses.Secondly,combined with specific cases,from the two dimensions of teachers and students,the specific implementation strategies of using debate-style teaching in high school ideological and political courses in the preparation,implementation and summary stages are proposed.The fourth part,combined with the high school ideological and political compulsory module of the teaching case "Correct understanding of traditional Chinese culture",conducts teaching design and reflection on how to effectively use debate teaching,so as to enhance the practical application effect of debate teaching.
