Analysis On The Application Of Argentina’s Offensive Skills And Tactics In Different Periods And Regions Of The 22nd World Cup

The development trend of modern football and the evolution of human beings are like a retreat,and fierce competition and crowded space have become the main theme."High intensity,fast pace and strong confrontation" have become the main characteristics of football matches.Techniques and tactics tend to be diversified.Attack is the key to win a football match.This paper uses the methods of literature review,video observation,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,and takes Argentina,the champion of the 2022 World Cup,as the research object,and counts the data of its seven matches since the group match,so as to explore the application characteristics of Argentina’s offensive skills and tactics in different periods and regions of the game and enrich the theoretical basis for the development of football in China.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Argentina used 4-4-2 formation in the semi-finals and finals,so 4-4-2 formation is the main formation of Argentina in this World Cup.2.The main breakthrough areas of Argentine players are concentrated in the middle and front fields on the sidewalk;The number of breakthroughs in the front court is the most,but the success rate is the lowest;The dribbling breakthrough times from the front court to the backcourt showed a decreasing trend,but the success rate showed an increasing trend.There are many dribbling breakthroughs in the middle of the game,among which 15 minutes in the middle of the first half and 15 minutes in the first half of the second half are the time periods with the most dribbling breakthroughs.The first 15 minutes of the first half and the last 15 minutes of the second half have the highest success rate.3.Argentina’s shooting area is concentrated in and near the restricted area,and the goals are basically in the restricted area,with less long-range shots.In the last 15 minutes of the first half,the number of shots was the highest and the number of goals was the highest,followed by the number of goals in the middle of the second half.4.The midfield area is the main passing area of Argentina team,and the passing success rate is higher than that of opponents.The success rate in the front court is the lowest.The passing times and success rate in the first half are higher than those in the second half.5.Argentina’s two-one-one tactics and pass-and-cut tactics are used more frequently on the side than in the middle,and the two-one-one tactics in the middle and front court have the highest success rate;Pass-and-cut tactics are used most frequently in the middle and front court,but the success rate is the highest in the back court.Argentina’s two-one-one tactics in the first half were not much different from those in the second half,but the success rate in the first half was higher.The first half is better than the second half in terms of the number of times of use and the success rate.6.The main attack mode of Argentina is positional warfare,but the success rate of quick counterattack is higher.Fast counter-attack tactics have the highest frequency and success rate from the middle and back court.The position attack has the highest success rate from the backcourt.The quick counter-attack tactics and position attack tactics are more concentrated in the flank area,and the success rate is higher than that in the middle.The quick counter-attack tactics are more in the second half of the game,that is,the last 15 minutes of the first half and the second half,but the success rate in the first half is higher than that in the second half.However,the number of position attack tactics was higher in the first half than in the second half,but the success rate was the highest at the end of the game.Argentina scored a high number of set-pieces per game,of which the total number of set-pieces in the first half was four.In the seven games of this World Cup(excluding overtime and penalty shoot-out),Argentina scored 14 goals,accounting for 28.57% of the goals,but only one goal was scored through free kicks and corners,accounting for 7.14% of the goals,indicating that Argentina has a high ability to create set-pieces but failed to grasp them well.
