| Against the backdrop of the high-quality development goals of China’s sports industry and the continuous pursuit of healthy living by the people,various sports have gradually integrated into people’s lives.In the process of everyone participating in sports and enjoying the physical and mental health brought by sports,injuries in sports also come with it.People’s potential harm in sports cannot be properly resolved,and sports risks cannot be effectively avoided,which reduces their enthusiasm for participating in sports and brings certain negative impacts on the physical and mental health of the Chinese people.Commercial sports insurance,as an important tool to protect sports participants,should mitigate or share the risk of sports injuries,and provide assistance for the development of China’s sports industry.In recent years,whether in terms of policy support or technological innovation,the development of commercial sports insurance in China has experienced certain stagnation,mainly manifested in unclear classification of commercial sports insurance product types,slow and incomplete data collection,difficult to solve fraud problems in commercial sports insurance,high claims costs,and low claims efficiency.Blockchain technology,as a fundamental tool for achieving data trust,has characteristics such as difficulty in tampering with transaction data,openness and transparency,and traceability.It has a high degree of compatibility in solving the current pain points of commercial sports insurance,and has important theoretical and practical significance for the innovative development of commercial sports insurance in China.Empowering commercial sports insurance through blockchain technology,utilizing side chains to clearly classify related products,improve the accuracy of past data and the credibility of actuarial data,reduce fraud risks,effectively reduce claim costs,and improve claim efficiency,thus effectively leveraging the purpose of commercial sports insurance to resolve risks and share losses for sports participants,and providing impetus for the high-quality development of China’s sports industry.This article mainly uses the methods of literature review,case analysis,comparative analysis,and PCMR model analysis to analyze the current development status of commercial sports insurance in China.Based on the current development status,it identifies the pain points that hinder its development,explains blockchain related technologies,and applies the characteristics of blockchain related technologies to explore whether blockchain technology can empower commercial sports insurance and the role it can play after empowering commercial sports insurance.This study indicates that current commercial sports insurance in China is not sufficient to truly play a fundamental role in ensuring the development of China’s sports industry.The main reasons are unclear classification of commercial sports insurance products,incomplete data collection,difficulty in solving fraud risks,high claims costs,and low efficiency;The application of blockchain related technologies in the field of commercial sports insurance has a high degree of compatibility.Commercial sports insurance is not only an important component of the sports field,but also an important component of the insurance field.Blockchain technology is relatively mature in these two fields,so it can better solve the pain points related to commercial sports insurance;The application of side chain technology in the classification and data storage of commercial sports insurance has certain theoretical and practical significance.This article attempts to construct a commercial sports insurance architecture through the construction of blockchain related technologies,proposing the application of "main chain+side chain" technology to China’s commercial sports insurance,and proposing relevant solutions for the classification of types of commercial sports insurance and the potential massive data congestion problems.Based on the development needs of commercial sports insurance in China and the current market situation,identify potential obstacles and propose relevant strategies in the process of empowering commercial sports insurance with blockchain technology,in order to provide some thoughts or suggestions for protecting the sports participation population and accelerating the high-quality development of China’s sports industry. |
