| With the vigorous development of digital economy and Internet technology,the social employment mode has evolved into a new employment mode in line with the trend of the new era.This new employment mode is different from the traditional employment mode,and it is a platform-based,de-employer and multi-employer employment mode based on modern information technology such as the Internet and the upgrading of mass consumption.Especially in the context of the constant impact of the epidemic in COVID-19 and the bottleneck in the development of traditional industries,it is difficult to implement the "stable employment" policy,and the new employment form is facing unprecedented development opportunities.The new employment pattern industry has employment characteristics such as flexible working hours and personalized working methods,which can not only help the sustainable economic development,but also play the role of social "stabilizer".At the same time,however,the contradiction of labor rights and interests protection of this group is becoming more and more prominent,and there are some disadvantages,such as unclear labor relations,insufficient insurance protection,long working hours,unstable salary and high labor intensity.Therefore,the 19 th National Congress and Report to the 20 th CPC National Congress stressed the need to strengthen the protection of labor rights and interests of workers in new employment forms.However,the topic of insufficient old-age security is on the rise.At present,the payment mode of social old-age insurance is based on traditional labor relations,and the occupational particularity of workers with new employment forms is obviously not applicable to the current social old-age insurance system.Therefore,some scholars have proposed that it is the general trend to participate in personalized and accurate commercial old-age insurance.However,there is still a gap in the theoretical research on the participation of workers with new employment forms in commercial old-age insurance in academic circles,and the exclusive commercial old-age insurance is still being promoted in pilot projects.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the connotation of new employment pattern workers and commercial endowment insurance,guided by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,rational choice theory and life cycle theory,and referring to relevant experts and scholars’ research on the influencing factors of new employment pattern workers’ endowment insurance and commercial endowment insurance demand,this paper analyzes the occupational rights and interests guarantee factors,income and expenditure ability factors,job cognition factors and personal factors from four dimensions.13 explanatory variables,including written labor contract,contract type,work intensity,basic old-age insurance for urban workers,enterprise annuity,unit pension system,total personal income,household consumption expenditure,job safety satisfaction,working environment satisfaction,age,marital status,and educational level,which have an impact on the participation of workers in commercial old-age insurance in new employment forms,Based on the relevant data in the 2018 China Labor Force Dynamic Survey Database(CLDS),this paper uses factor analysis method to calculate the weight of each explanatory variable,and finally calculates the comprehensive score of the new employment pattern workers’ demand for commercial endowment insurance.Further,the binary Logistic regression model is used to make significant regression on the four selected public factors,and it is concluded that the occupational rights and interests guarantee factor,income and expenditure ability factor,job cognition factor and personal factor all have a positive role in promoting the new employment pattern workers’ participation in commercial endowment insurance.On this basis,multiple collinearity test and robustness test are used to ensure the rationality of the selected model.Finally,combining the theoretical and empirical results,this paper puts forward that it is necessary to strengthen targeted publicity to improve the insurance literacy of workers in new employment forms;Expand the protection scope of exclusive commercial endowment insurance products and improve the current risk response ability;Construct an assessment and incentive mechanism for a new employment form platform and encourage relevant industries to take the initiative to participate in insurance;Accelerate the integration of social insurance and commercial insurance,establish and improve the commercial old-age security system for new employment forms,in order to improve the willingness of workers with new employment forms to participate in commercial old-age insurance. |
