Research On The Influence Of Enterprise Digitalization On Enterprise Performance

With the continuous development of emerging digital industries such as artificial intelligence,Internet of Things,intelligent manufacturing core information equipment,information security,satellite remote sensing,etc.,we have entered a new era of digital economy,and digitalization has become an important engine for the development of the new era and a strategic direction for economic transformation.Digital development in the new era should adhere to the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the cultivation of strategic emerging industries.Deeply grasp the ideological core of the "14th Five-Year Plan" digital economy development plan,adhere to the digital economy to drive the development of the real economy,realize the deep integration of digital emerging technologies and traditional industries,and let the real economy shine with new vitality under the background of emerging technologies.In order to study the impact of digitalization on enterprise performance in micro-enterprises,this paper selects the data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed enterprises from 2008 to 2021 from the aspects of data availability and scientificity,and uses text analysis to construct indicators to measure the degree of digitalization of micro-enterprises.Through empirical analysis,it is found that:(1)he degree of enterprise digitalization has a positive role in promoting enterprise performance;(2)The higher the asset specificity of the enterprise,the greater the role of enterprise digitalization on enterprise performance,and the lower the impact of digitalization on enterprise performance of enterprises with low asset specificity;(3)The deepening of enterprise digitalization will directly improve the business performance of enterprises,and will also improve the business performance of enterprises by inhibiting their financial investment behavior;(4)With the formation of enterprise scale effect,the impact of enterprise digitalization on enterprise performance has changed from negative to positive;(5)The micro characteristics of enterprises will affect the digital transformation effect of enterprises,and stateowned enterprises and service enterprises have advantages in digital transformation.The contribution of this paper is to enrich and expand the research of digital economy at the micro level of enterprises,analyze the mechanism of digitalization on enterprise performance,and explore the differences in the role of digitalization in the transformation process of enterprises of different scales,industries and business natures,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the digital transformation of enterprises.
