Among the core competencies,the cultivation of scientific reasoning ability is of utmost importance and serves as a bridge between students’ learning and application of physics knowledge.The logic of problem string and scientific reasoning,as two main lines,are intertwined and interdependent.The design of each problem needs to be based on the stage of scientific reasoning,and each step of scientific reasoning requires a problem to break through difficulties,clarify difficulties,and clear thinking obstacles for the smooth progress of scientific reasoning.Based on this,it is expected to conduct research on the cultivation of scientific reasoning ability of junior high school students based on the question string strategy.Firstly,it analyzes the types and presentation forms of scientific reasoning in the electrical part of junior high school physics textbooks;Then,the theory of question string teaching is discussed,and strategies for developing students’ scientific reasoning ability based on question strings are proposed;Finally,a physics teaching design was conducted using the question string strategy,providing new ideas for front-line teachers to cultivate students’ scientific reasoning ability in practical teaching.Through research,the following conclusions are obtained:First,in the electrical part of the textbook,inductive reasoning is the most frequently used type,followed by related reasoning and deductive reasoning,and proportional reasoning is the least.Some of the manifestations of scientific reasoning abilities are more explicit,such as controlled variable reasoning,inductive reasoning,and related reasoning,but there are still some reasoning abilities that are implicit in the thinking behind textbook compilation.In terms of presentation forms,there are also various methods,such as question string method,experimental inquiry method,classroom discussion method,and so on.In general,the logic of the question string in the textbook is clear,the design of the question is reasonable,and the timing of raising the question is relatively appropriate.This can well stimulate students’ thirst for knowledge,and when encountering difficulties,it can also be reasonably decomposed to help students improve in their recent development zone.Secondly,under the guidance of theories such as cognitivism,constructivism,the zone of recent development,and Bloomtner’s teaching questioning model,the principles,types,and bases for question string design are summarized and presented.Six teaching strategies for developing students’ scientific reasoning abilities based on question string strategies are proposed,including:(1)strategies for emphasizing situation creation,(2)strategies for exploring the main line and skillfully using questions,(3)strategies for disassembling difficult points from simple to deep(4)The strategy of analogy with similar methods,(5)the strategy of summarizing and building a system,and(6)the strategy of flexibly questioning teaching tact.Finally,using the above teaching strategies comprehensively,the teaching design of "Ohm’s Law" and "Resistance" was carried out.
