Junior high school students are in the critical period of physical and mental development, which is affected by individual factors and external factors.Due to the imperfect cognitive development, emotional fluctuations are easy to produce behavioral deviations. In recent years, there have been numerous reports of campus aggression, which often occurs among junior high school students. The theoretical model of emotional socialization shows that parents’ emotional disclosure not only affects their children’s emotional cognitive development, but also has an important impact on their children’s social behavior. In addition, the level of individual emotional intelligence is also one of the mechanisms affecting the generation of aggressive behavior. Therefore, this paper mainly investigates the relationship between father’s emotional disclosure and junior high school students’ aggressive behavior, and the role of emotional intelligence in it.This study is divided into two parts: On the basis of literature analysis, the first part uses the father Emotional Disclosure Questionnaire,Aggression Scale and Emotional Intelligence Scale to conduct a questionnaire survey on 475 junior high school students and their parents in a middle school in Shijiazhuang City.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the collected data,so as to study the internal influence mechanism of father’s emotional disclosure and emotional intelligence on junior high school students’ aggressive behavior and analyze the differences in demographic variables, and further investigate the relationship between father’s emotional disclosure, junior high school students’ emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior. The second part is based on the first study, designed a set of junior high school students’ emotional intelligence group psychological counseling intervention program,90 students from the first study, divided into two groups for group intervention research. The study reached the following conclusions:(1)Fathers’ positive emotion expression is above the average level, while their negative emotion expression is below the average level. There are significant differences in occupation and education level, but no significant differences in age, child sex and whether their child is the only child.(2)The aggressive behavior of junior high school students is at a moderate and low level, with significant differences in grade and class leader status, but no significant differences in gender, singleton status and place of origin.(3)The overall emotional intelligence score of junior high school students is higher, and there are significant differences in grade and class leader, but no significant differences in gender, single child or place of origin.(4)Father’s positive emotional disclosure was significantly negatively correlated with junior high school students’ aggressive behavior, and significantly positively correlated with emotional intelligence.Father’s negative emotional disclosure is positively correlated with junior high school students’ aggressive behavior and negatively correlated with emotional intelligence.Emotional intelligence was negatively correlated with aggressive behavior.Emotional intelligence partially mediates the relationship between paternal emotional disclosure and aggressive behavior.(5)Group psychological counseling activities with the theme of emotional intelligence play a positive and effective role in improving junior middle school students’ emotional intelligence level and reducing aggressive behavior.
