| In the present era,the economic globalization makes the education of each country devoted to improving the scientific literacy of its citizens.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued a new version of Physics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools on the basis of experimental curriculum standards,which condensed the original three-dimensional curriculum objectives into the core literacy of physics.In order to cultivate innovative talents and promote the development of science and technology,it is necessary for teachers to improve students’ thinking quality in model teaching.However,it is difficult for students to fully master complex physical models in a short time in the modeling process due to the various types and difficulty of physical models.Therefore,the study of physical models is also a process from shallow to deep and gradually deepening,which coincides with the theory of "learning progression",another hot topic of science education today.Learning progression is a series of concept sequence from the simple to the deep,aiming at depicting the process of students’ thinking progression development.This study will make use of the characteristics of learning progression theory to improve the physical model teaching.From the perspective of learning progression,the logic between physical models becomes clearer.In this study,the case development and teaching of cultivating students’ model building ability under the learning progression will be studied in five parts.The first part is mainly to elaborate the background of this study and clarify the research significance of this study by combing the research status at home and abroad.The second part is to define the concepts involved in the research and the educational theoretical basis supporting the research.The third part is to investigate and analyze the current situation of model building ability of students in four classes of senior one grade through questionnaires and interview five front-line teachers to find the problems existing in physical modeling teaching caused by learning progression,so as to obtain the teaching experience and suggestions of front-line teachers.The fourth part is to divide the basic steps of physical modeling teaching and the five stages of model construction.The fifth part is based on the students of two classes of Grade one in Grade One of No.N Middle School in Fengcheng City,Jiangxi Province as the research object.The author adopts different teaching forms to carry out the control teaching for one semester.Finally,spss26.0 was used to analyze the scores of students’ model construction test paper,so as to explore the effectiveness and operability of the teaching mode of physical model construction ability cultivation under the learning progression.Through the analysis of post-test results,it is found that the teaching strategy of physical modeling ability cultivation guided by learning progression theory can effectively cultivate students’ scientific thinking ability.According to the experimental research results,based on the learning progression theory,the operability of physical model teaching is enhanced,which can help students construct the core framework of physical concepts and improve their physical modeling ability.On the basis of teaching theory,this paper discusses the model advanced physics teaching,which provides help for the author’s future physics education and teaching and provides teaching reference for front-line teachers. |
