With a view to addressing the existing realistic issues in the process of cultivating intuitive imagination literacy among senior high school students,this paper takes the first-year students of senior high school as the research subjects to explore the strategies for cultivating intuitive imagination literacy among senior high school students with the advantage of Geo Gebra software.In accordance with the theory of mathematical image thinking,multiple representation theory,cognitive load theory and constructivist learning theory,in conjunction with the results of literature research,student questionnaires and teacher interviews,the strategies for cultivating intuitive imagination literacy of senior high school students based on Geo Gebra are proposed,which involve three parts,namely pre-course preparation,classroom teaching and post-course review:(1)Pre-class preparation strategies: Pre-study the textbook independently first,followed by exploring with GGB pre-course courseware;(2)Classroom teaching strategies:Visually demonstrating the graphical transformation to enrich the graphical representation system;precisely presenting the graphing process to enhance graphing capability;creating intuitive problem situations to reinforce the awareness of using graphs;making full use of the advantages of the platform to penetrate the idea of combining numbers and shapes;guiding the hands-on operation of students to experience the mathematical representation;meticulously designing teaching links to boost the teaching effectiveness of Geo Gebra;reasonably employing the Geo Gebra software to minimize the cognitive load;integrating various teaching methods to optimize the teaching process;(3)Post-course review strategies: Sharing GGB courseware;assigning routine and interest-based inquiry assignments.The strategies are reasonably integrated into the teaching of functions in the first year of senior high school,with three rounds of controlled experiments conducted to test the effectiveness of the cultivation strategies.The analysis of the experimental results indicates that the implementation of the cultivation strategies of senior high school students’ intuitive imagination literacy based on Geo Gebra can:(1)effectively promote the capability of students to draw the graphs of basic elementary functions in familiar situations,and to draw the graphs of specified functions in accordance with the laws of symmetry,folding and telescoping transformation;(2)effectively enhance the capability of students to resolve questions concerning function properties,segmental functions and abstract functions with the assistance of function graphs in related situations;(3)effectively facilitate the development of the intuitive imagination literacy of senior high school students,especially for Level 2,which achieves the most significant improvement.
