| Since the industrial revolution,with the rapid growth of population,the rapid development of science and technology and the prevalence of anthropocentrism,global ecological problems have become increasingly serious.China is also facing ecological and environmental problems,such as large consumption of natural resources,serious ecological environment degradation,and increased pollutant emissions.Strengthening ecological civilization education has attracted more and more attention from the party and the government.Building an eco-civilization is vital to sustain the Chinese nation’s development.In order to realize the sustainable development of our society and promote the construction of the Beautiful China Initiative,the party and the state have made a major strategy and deployment of ecological civilization construction.The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the new requirements of ecological civilization development of “Promoting green development and Cultivating harmony between huamnity and nature”.The cultivation and promotion of ecological civilization literacy is an important part of ecological civilization construction,and ecological civilization education is an important way to improve ecological civilization literacy.The research object of geography is the various elements and their mutual relations in the geographical environment of the earth’s surface.It emphasizes the exploration of the geographical environment and the relationship between man and land.Deepening the education of ecological civilization in geography teaching is an important function and value of geography.This paper mainly explores the strategies of deepening ecological civilization education in junior high school geography teaching.The main research process includes the following four aspects: First of all,by consulting literature and reading books,we can understand the development process and related theories of ecological civilization education at home and abroad,and define the specific connotation of ecological civilization education.Secondly,sort out and excavate the specific content of ecological civilization in junior high school geography curriculum standards and junior high school geography textbooks,and refine the knowledge base of deepening ecological civilization education in junior high school geography teaching.Thirdly,using the questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate,understand the current junior high school students’ ecological civilization knowledge,consciousness and behavior and the current situation of deepening ecological civilization education in junior high school geography teaching,summarize the existing problems and analyze the reasons.Fourth,according to the problems found in the survey,the specific strategies of deepening ecological civilization education in junior high school geography teaching are put forward,and specific teaching cases are designed.Through the investigation,it is found that the current junior high school students’ knowledge of ecological civilization is unbalanced.The eighth and ninth grade students’ mastery of ecological civilization knowledge is significantly better than that of the seventh grade students,and their understanding of environmental problems is better than that of population and resources.Although it has a good knowledge base and awareness of ecological civilization,it has not fully implemented ecological civilization behavior.Although front-line teachers can realize the importance of carrying out ecological civilization education in geography classrooms,they pay insufficient attention to ecological civilization education and insufficient development of textbook resources.The teaching method is single,lack of practicality and subjectivity.In order to improve the effect of deepening ecological civilization education in geography teaching,this paper puts forward teaching strategies and suggestions from three aspects :knowledge accumulation,consciousness transformation and behavior implementation : Firstly,consolidate the accumulation of ecological civilization knowledge with the help of classroom.To promote knowledge understanding by establishing a knowledge framework;link political hot spots,strong chemical combination;organize knowledge competitions to consolidate the knowledge base.Secondly,in-depth experience promotes the transformation of ecological civilization consciousness.Change from passive acceptance to active participation in the classroom,enhance understanding;participate in social research activities to promote awareness of the transformation of behavior;design and organize interdisciplinary theme activities to enrich perception.Thirdly,create an atmosphere to promote the implementation of ecological civilization behavior.Build an ecological campus environment atmosphere and promote students’ conscious participation;improve the system and promote the formation of ecological civilization habits;using key nodes to promote the implementation of ecological civilization behavior. |
