| Teenagers are the future of the country and the nation,and improving the physical health of Teenagers is an important cornerstone for the realization of the "Chinese Dream",but in recent years,the decline in the physical health of Teenagers has attracted the great attention of the Central Committee of the Party and the Ministry of Education,and a series of relevant policy documents have been issued one after another to address the issue of Teenagers physical health.Therefore,the General Office of the State Council has proposed in the Opinions on Strengthening School Sports for the Overall Development of Students’ Physical and Mental Health that students’ interests should be taken as a guide,curriculum time should be guaranteed,attention should be paid to teaching students according to their abilities,and motor skills should be emphasized while students’ exercise habits should be cultivated,with the ultimate goal of developing a lifelong habit of physical education.As the main way for students to carry out physical activities in school,PE lessons should focus on students as the main body,and a certain exercise load must be ensured in the lessons,based on safety as the main principle,to ensure the reasonableness of the exercise load,in order to have a positive meaning for students’ physical health.Therefore,exercise load is an effective index to evaluate the quality of physical education teaching.It is also a basic skill for teachers to arrange and regulate exercise load reasonably.Only appropriate exercise load can make students achieve the best exercise effect and effectively promote the healthy development of students’ physical and mental health.This study is based on the Chinese Health Physical Education Curriculum Model and takes the physical education class exercise load in high schools in Fuyang City as the research object.Through the literature method,measurement method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,mathematical and statistical method and logical analysis method,the physical education classes in six randomly selected high schools in three districts of Fuyang City were monitored for on-site exercise load.The results of the study were as follows: the main factors affecting the exercise load were teachers’ professionalism,teaching resources,the environment and students themselves in a total of four aspects,summarising the problems that exist in the current situation of physical education classes in high schools in Fuyang:(1)teaching resources,the lack of school space resources,backward teaching equipment,the limited scope of students’ physical education class activities,the influence of the teaching content of physical education class its own characteristics,coupled with the number of students in the class,while the number of physical education teachers is relatively small,class organization is more difficult;(2)physical education teachers professionalism,teachers to participate in relevant training,and teaching ability and scientific research level needs to be improved;(3)In terms of the environment,some school leaders do not attach much importance to physical education classes,students have a heavy workload,discipline in physical education classes needs to be strengthened,and safety issues in classes need to be taken seriously;(4)In terms of the students themselves,some students do not take physical education classes seriously and do not have the habit of exercising,and there are differences between students,with varying levels of athleticism.To address the current situation and propose the following countermeasures:(1)improve the relevant facilities and enhance the quality of the classroom;(2)focus on the professionalism of teachers and improve the training system;(3)attach importance to the physical education curriculum and create a good teaching atmosphere;(4)look objectively at the differences of students and focus on cultivating their exercise habits. |
