Research On The Cultivation Of Positive Social Attitudes Among University Students In The New Era

Social mentality,as a barometer reflecting the dynamic situation of social changes and development,is essentially a kind of intuitive and emotional social consciousness.Currently,China is at a critical moment of a new historical starting point,and it needs an active social mentality to provide strong spiritual support for socialist construction.University students represent one of the most energetic and dynamic forces in the youth population,and focusing on cultivating a positive social mentality among university students is beneficial for nurturing outstanding talent resources that meet the needs of social transformation and undertake the great cause of national rejuvenation in the new era.This has important implications for implementing the Party’s educational policies in the new era.Therefore,at the current stage,it is necessary to investigate the specific situation of the psychological status,spiritual characteristics,and social behavior of university students under the background of the new era,and then adopt targeted measures to guide and educate university students to improve their mental quality,enhance their ideological cultivation,and guide them to become socialist builders who are willing to face the challenges of the times and assume the responsibilities of the era.The thesis draws on existing research findings on the positive social attitudes of university students,and utilizes a combination of literature review,questionnaire survey,and interdisciplinary research methods.Firstly,by analyzing the core concepts and clarifying their values,it systematically summarizes the theoretical basis and intellectual resources for cultivating the positive social attitudes of university students in the new era,and clarifies the main research direction and logical starting point.Secondly,through in-depth investigation and comprehensive research on the current status of social attitudes among university students,it is found that the overall social attitudes of this group are positive and healthy.However,influenced by the current complex and diverse social environment,there are still some deficiencies in various aspects of their social attitudes,including self-reflection bias,insufficient emotional management,weakened social cognition,and deviation from values.The negative trends reflected in the social attitudes of university students are not only closely related to their own internal causes,but are also easily influenced by external factors such as the social environment,university management,family and peers,which can have many adverse effects on their psychological awareness.Finally,based on an exploration of the existing problems and causes of positive social attitudes among university students,it is emphasized that in future cultivation work,it is necessary to adhere to the principles of combining theory with practice,reality with virtuality,overall with individual,diversity with leadership,and to adopt a variety of measures from the perspectives of strengthening national mainstream guidance,giving full play to the leading role of universities,improving self-cultivation ability,and constructing a positive social system,in order to further enhance the positive and optimistic spiritual outlook of university students,and to contribute to the socialist modernization construction with a more full and firm spirit and more determined ideal and belief,and to help push forward the socialist cause toward a new journey with confidence.
