Further-education is an important component of China’s lifelong education system.Compared to traditional full-time education,it is more closely related to learners’ actual work or career planning.It emphasizes the updating and supplementation of knowledge,the expansion of horizons,the optimization of knowledge structure,and the improvement of innovative abilities to meet the constantly changing demands of technological progress,social development,and work needs.For many years,universities have been an important mainstay of further-education,cultivating a large number of comprehensive talents for China.Since its establishment,WL College’s further-education program has made significant contributions to local economic and social development and the improvement of people’s quality of life.However,in recent years,the number of new students enrolled in the college’s further-education program has been declining.The college has tried to improve the situation by increasing publicity efforts,adjusting management personnel,and other means,but with little success.Therefore,it is necessary to study the satisfaction of the college’s further-education students to identify the existing problems.Against this background,this article takes WL College’s further-education program as the research object.First,by referencing relevant interdisciplinary scholars’ research and combining with the actual situation of the college,it selects corresponding indicators to construct a student satisfaction index evaluation system for WL College’s furthereducation program.Then,through a questionnaire survey,it collects relevant data on student satisfaction and uses factor analysis to determine the weight of each indicator and calculate the student satisfaction index for WL College’s further-education program.Finally,using a quadrant model,it identifies the problems in the college’s furthereducation program and proposes corresponding optimization strategies in priority order.By studying the satisfaction of WL College’s further-education program,this article constructs a student satisfaction index evaluation system and provides improvement and optimization strategies,which can help to improve the problems faced by the college.At the same time,it also provides a reference for other universities’ related research.
