Research purpose: This article mainly studies the pre competition training characteristics of the Jiangsu Provincial Table Tennis Women’s Team in preparation for the 2022 National Table Tennis Championships,with a focus on summarizing the training characteristics of technical and tactical training,physical training,and psychological training.The purpose is to explore and extract experience that can be elevated to theory from the practice of training and competition,summarize and analyze their common and individual characteristics,identify the shortcomings of pre competition training,and provide suggestions,To provide theoretical and practical guidance for the Jiangsu Provincial Table Tennis Women’s Team to conduct more scientific training in the future,continuously explore more suitable pre competition training modes for athletes,improve training quality,and achieve excellent sports results in competitions.Research Method: This study adopts the literature review method to sort out relevant literature on table tennis training,relying on theories such as sports training and sports physiology;Using expert interview and field investigation methods,this study conducted on-site data analysis on the division of pre competition training stages,arrangement of content,and selection of methods and means for the Jiangsu Provincial Table Tennis Women’s Team through interviews with table tennis coaches,physical fitness coaches,and key players;The mathematical statistics method is used to make statistics on the characteristics of the pre match training and the competition situation of the women’s table tennis team in Jiangsu Province,and Excel software is used to record and summarize them.Finally,a database is established for comparison and analysis to facilitate intuitive observation of data.Research conclusion:(1)The 2022 National Table Tennis Championships will undergo a 6-week pre competition training,which will be divided into three stages based on the competition tasks.The three stages before the full championship competition: the first stage,which is the 1-2 weeks,is the training preparation stage,mainly aimed at strengthening and improving athletes’ skills and tactics,and combining physical training to lay a solid foundation for the following training and final competition.The second stage,3-5weeks,is the training and improvement stage,which mainly solves the problems that arise in the first stage and strengthens them.In the third stage,which is the sixth week,a practical simulation competition will be held to improve athletes’ confidence,increase psychological stress training,help athletes quickly adapt to the competition rhythm,and lay the foundation for improving competition results.(2)In the pre competition training content arrangement,each section of the training must strictly follow the principle of starting from actual combat.Based on the actual situation of athletes and the characteristics of opponents,targeted training plans must be developed in technical,tactical,and physical training to timely identify and properly solve problems that athletes encounter during practice.This process also exposes the problems of insufficient physical reserve and low psychological pressure resistance of athletes.(3)The common feature reflected by the provincial women’s team in technical and tactical training is mainly the basic skill training centered on basic techniques,which helps athletes to more stably exert their own strength;Personality traits are mainly targeted training programs selected based on the individual strengths,gameplay,and different clapping skills of athletes to steadily enhance their competitive abilities.The common feature reflected in physical fitness training is the orderly training of lower limbs,core,upper limbs,and endurance,with a rest arranged in the middle to achieve the effect of excessive recovery;Personality traits are mainly based on the athletes’ strengths or weaknesses in their playing style through targeted training to expand their strengths or make up for their weaknesses.(4)According to the needs of the competition,pre competition technical and tactical training mainly adopts the complete training method and repeated training method,while pre competition physical fitness training mainly adopts the repeated training method and interval training method.Pre competition psychological training mainly adopts the method of simulating competition training.(5)The load arrangement for this pre competition training is divided into three stages.In the accumulation stage,the pursuit of a large amount of technical and tactical training is maintained,with a load of 156 to 176 times and a load intensity of 56% to76%.The transformation stage is to pursue the intensity of technical and tactical training,with a load maintained between 178 and 182 times and a load intensity maintained between 78% and 82%.In the final implementation stage,the main focus is on simulating opponents or adapting to specialized competition environments for training,with training intensity closer to the competition,and load capacity maintained between 185 and 190 times,with load intensity maintained at 85% to 90%.Research recommendations:(1)When arranging training content,coaches need to balance the proportion of training courses among various elements of competitive ability based on the winning factors of the specific project and the essential characteristics of the project.(2)Multiple psychological training methods can be used to help athletes improve their psychological quality.Inviting leaders,coaches,and others as spectators in daily training can increase the atmosphere of the competition and help athletes better feel the competition environment.Organize more team activities to cultivate teamwork and cohesion among athletes.(3)Regular physiological and biochemical monitoring should be conducted on the Jiangsu Provincial Table Tennis Women’s Team to monitor their training intensity and body fatigue,in order to adjust the training plan in a timely manner.For athletes who experience injuries and illnesses during the training process,measures such as sports rehabilitation intervention should be adopted.Due to the lack of physiological and biochemical monitoring of training load during the training process,the provincial women’s team did not evaluate the training load from the perspective of physiological and biochemical indicators.In the future,systematic research on monitoring physiological and biochemical indicators of training load will be strengthened.
