| The issue of youth health has gradually become a challenge for national development in the new era,and the integration of physical education is being regarded as a concept and innovative model for national strategic planning in the new era, leading to a change in the functions and concepts of relevant national departments. In the context of the new curriculum reform, the reform of elementary school physical education needs to be carried out in many aspects, such as updating teaching contents, developing physical education teachers and improving students’ physical fitness. This study aims to investigate the process of elementary school physical education technology curriculum design by exploring the school-based curriculum design of elementary school cheerleading, and provide theoretical support for the development of school-based cheerleading curriculum construction and its integration with physical education. This study will help to make up for the shortage of the current elementary school cheerleading curriculum content, strengthen the design of cheerleading theory, training and competition based on the original technical training,in order to improve the cheerleading school-based curriculum construction, improve students’ physical fitness, cultivate outstanding cheerleaders, and promote the development of physical education integration. This study uses literature, questionnaires, expert interviews, and mathematical statistics to conduct an in-depth study on the design of school-based cheerleading curriculum in elementary school in the context of physical education integration, and uses elementary school H as a case study for empirical investigation. The study concluded the following:1)The development of a school-based curriculum for elementary school cheerleading requires a clear educational philosophical ideology and school purpose,a democratic and open school organizational structure, and a teaching system that reflects the school’s educational philosophy and school purpose and a conscious and self-disciplined internal evaluation and improvement mechanism. In developing the school-based curriculum, the basic principles of scientificity, education, continuity, sequentiality, effectiveness and openness need to be followed.Specifically, the basic procedure for developing a school-based curriculum needs to start with the organization of research and analysis and the compilation of data, followed by the development of objectives and the preparation of curriculum materials, and finally the implementation of the curriculum and its evaluation and revision.2)The implementation strategies for cheerleading ability development include consolidating basic skills, improving students’ physical fitness in all aspects, exploring students’ potential, enhancing innovation, emphasizing teamwork, cultivating cooperation, and integrating after-school training with classroom learning;the implementation paths of the cheerleading school-based curriculum include recess, physical activity classes, independent courses, and cheerleading competitions.3)Students’ participation in the cheerleading school-based curriculum can improve the function of heart and lungs and other organs, promote the development of the nervous system;enhance physical health, strengthen strength, flexibility and other physical fitness;adjust students’ learning attitudes, exercise will quality and improve self-confidence.4)Challenges faced in the course of curriculum development include insufficient teacher participation motivation, lack of theoretical guidance for school-based curriculum development, insufficient cooperation and communication between disciplines, and classroom time constraints. The corresponding solution strategies include improving the incentive mechanism for school-based curriculum development to stimulate teachers’ enthusiasm for participation;increasing the training for school-based curriculum development to improve teachers’ curriculum development ability;strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration to promote school-based curriculum development;and mobilizing students’ enthusiasm to maximize the classroom effect. |
