Passing and controlling the ball is the basic skill of football players, and also the most commonly used technical action in games. It is very important to the competitive ability level of athletes. In daily training, coaches often practice specifically, but most of them only accumulate quantity and have no method innovation. In high level football game, need players feet stable ball ability, but football players have dominant foot and the dominant foot,in the game the dominant foot pass the ball ability is obviously better than the dominant foot, the ball ability is also indispensable,so narrow the gap is also a way to improve football players comprehensive ball ability.Coordination ability is one of the basic qualities of athletes, and the high level of athletes’ coordination ability will affect some of their sports performance. This paper explores the influence of coordination practice on the ball control ability of 11-12 year old football players, especially whether the gap between non-dominant feet and dominant feet can be narrowed.Players of this age group have been exposed to football for a period of time, and there is an obvious gap in the passing and possession ability of dominant feet and non-dominant feet, while the best time for coordination practice is before 12 years. Therefore,so players of this age group were selected as the experimental subjects. In this thesis,12 football players aged 11-12 years in the experimental group and the control group were selected as the experimental subjects, and by adding 15-30 minutes of coordination practice in the warm-up before the football training class,to confirm the positive effect of the coordination practice on the ball control ability, and to narrow the gap between the non-dominant foot and the dominant foot. After 10 weeks and 30 training sessions, the data analysis of the experimental and control athletes showed that the p-values of the coordination test index of 10-second quadrant jump,20-second repeated side sliding,15-second asymmetric beating,15-second standing step swing and fast stepping were all less than 0.05,indicating that there were significant differences before and after the experiment. In the test index of ball control, the p-value of dribbling ball and right foot square ball was> 0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference among the data, left foot square ball, right foot football ball, and left foot football ball were <0.05,which showed a significant difference.Combined with the data analysis, the conclusion is drawn as follows, and the corresponding suggestions are put forward according to the conclusion.(1)Adding coordination exercises in the warm-up activities before the training class can effectively improve the coordination ability of football players aged 11-12 years old.(2)The coordination exercises were added to the warm-up before the training session, which improved the passing ability of the football players aged 11-12 years better than the regular warm-up only before the training session.(3)Adding coordination exercises in the warm-up activities of the training class is better to improve the non-dominant foot ball of 11-12 years old athletes than the dominant foot.(4)Add coordination exercises in the warm-up activities of the training class to improve the passing ability of 11-12 year players better than the ball control ability.
