In recent years,with the implementation of the new curriculum standard,how to guide students to read the whole book has become a hot topic in junior middle school Chinese teaching.The whole book reading is an effective way to expand the depth and breadth of students’ reading and improve their comprehensive quality.At present,from the national level,we have put forward clear requirements for the whole book reading in junior high school.For example,in the Reading Teaching Section of the Chinese Curriculum Standards,the author put forward the following suggestions: "Cultivate students’ extensive reading interest,expand their reading range,increase their reading volume,advocate less problem solving,more reading,good reading,good reading,and read the whole book.In addition,there is a famous book guide link in the compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.",The teaching concept of reading the whole book is also reflected in the textbook setting.The most obvious sign is that the guide to famous works is included in the latest textbooks as a compulsory task module for students.It can be seen from this that the reading of the whole book has been highly valued by all parties,and its implementation and reform are imperative.The paper is divided into three parts besides the introduction and conclusion.The first part discusses the theoretical basis of the whole book reading teaching in junior high school Chinese from the perspective of Goodman’s reading teaching theory.This part mainly discusses the basic meaning and unique nature of Goodman’s reading teaching theory in the perspective of Goodman’s reading teaching theory.Mainly focus on the following points;One is the personality characteristics of the whole book reading teaching in junior high school Chinese,and the other is the value of Goodman’s reading teaching theory in junior high school Chinese reading teaching.Through researching and exploring the essence of the whole book reading and Goodman’s whole Chinese education thought reading teaching method,find their common ground;That is to say,the whole book reading teaching,a new teaching form,the whole language research theory and the supporting implementation methods are the products of the whole science,and reflect the characteristics of the whole thinking in different degrees.Focus on the overall function and the real and complete world,with certain dynamic and open characteristics.Therefore,this part of the paper discusses how to combine Goodman’s whole Chinese teaching thought and teaching method with the whole book’s Chinese teaching,and proves that it is completely feasible to infiltrate the whole Chinese thinking and method into the whole book’s reading Chinese teaching process.After that,through the investigation and research on the current situation of reading teaching of the whole book of Chinese in a middle school in my city,using individual interview questionnaires,literature research and other research methods,we found that junior high school students are rarely able to fully and systematically understand literary works and other practical problems.The last part of the text mainly discusses the implementation strategies of the whole book reading teaching in junior high school Chinese from the perspective of Goodman’s reading teaching theory,and tries to design specific and feasible teaching plans and measures.When finding the existing problems,few people can fully and systematically comprehend the literary works,combine the teaching cases in practice,base on the real situation of students’ development,select and arrange the teaching content suitable for students’ needs,and refer to a specific teaching theory--Goodman’s reading teaching theory for research.Solve reading teaching problems such as how to help students obtain complete information of literary classics in real situations.It is expected to explore the best use path of Goodman’s whole language theory and relevant teaching theories in the current teaching field of Chinese whole book reading in junior high school through the research of this paper,and strive to explore the applicable value of relevant theories in the teaching of overall reading,and summarize a feasible and practical teaching design scheme.It is expected to provide certain method guidance and feasible solutions for the teaching practice of front-line teachers in the future.Help teachers fill in the busy spots in the theoretical understanding of reading the whole book,get rid of cognitive misunderstandings,and make up for the shortcomings in practical operation.
