In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued a new edition of the General High School Music Curriculum Standards(2017 edition),which condensed the core literacy of the subject of high school music and established an intrinsic link between core literacy and high school music curriculum teaching,marking the arrival of the era of core literacy in the subject of music.This marks the advent of core literacy in the music curriculum.It has become a critical issue to explore the nurturing value of the subject,develop the necessary character and key competencies of students,and foster core literacy in the senior secondary music curriculum.The new curriculum has changed the previous ’Composition’module into a ’Music Composition’ module,expanding the content of learning and lowering the professionalism requirement for music composition,and making it a compulsory subject in senior secondary music.In this paper,through an in-depth study of the core literacy and music composition modules,we analyse the current situation of classroom teaching of the music composition module in J secondary school,combine the core literacy concept of human development with the practical teaching of the high school music composition module,reflect on the summary and put forward reasonable suggestions,so as to reflect the human development value of the music composition module.
