| Environmental education is an important part of biology teaching in middle school and it is also an important way to improve the environmental awareness of middle school students.At present,many schools are affected by factors such as class time restrictions and examination-oriented education.Environmental education has not been implemented,and students’ environmental awareness level needs to be improved.There are no special environmental education courses at the middle school level,and most of them use the way of infiltration in various disciplines to carry out environmental education.Middle school biology textbooks contain a lot of environmental education-related content,and in junior high school biology teaching infiltration environmental education has obvious advantages.Since environmental education should also consider the knowledge system and curriculum arrangement of the discipline.How to ensure the continuity and operability of environmental education penetration is an urgent problem for every front-line biology teacher.At present,there are many related studies on environmental education infiltration,but most of them are overall theoretical suggestions on infiltration,and lack practical guidance and effect evaluation of environmental education infiltration.Therefore,this study explores the reasons that hinder the improvement of students’ environmental awareness through the current situation investigation,designs a practice path according to specific problems,and improves the evaluation of the penetration effect of environmental education.With the junior high school biology class as the carrier,fully explore the local environmental education materials,carry out the practice of infiltrating environmental education,enrich the environmental knowledge of middle school students,help students establish correct environmental attitudes,stimulate students’ internal motivation to protect the environment,and comprehensively improve the environmental awareness of middle school students.In order to understand the current situation and causes of environmental awareness of local middle school students.This paper uses questionnaire survey method and interview method to randomly survey720 middle school students in a county of Guizhou Province,and interview 15 teachers and 15 students to understand the current situation of environmental awareness of middle school students in the area,and analyze the reasons for the current situation of environmental awareness of middle school students.The results of the current situation survey show that the development of environmental knowledge,environmental attitude and environmental commitment behavior of middle school students is uneven,and the development level of environmental knowledge is the lowest among the three dimensions of environmental awareness.The environmental attitude of middle school students was generally good,but the proportion of students who showed negative attitudes still accounted for a certain proportion,indicating that the environmental attitudes of some students needed to be changed.The level of environmental commitment behavior of middle school students is in the middle of the three dimensions.A comprehensive assessment of the environmental awareness of middle school students found that only 21%rated it as "good",and the level of environmental awareness needs to be improved.In order to ensure that the design of the practice path is pertinent and operable,this study analyzes the causes of the problems presented by students in the three dimensions of environmental awareness and the interview results.According to the teaching materials and the actual situation of students,improve measures and specific practices,and summarize the methods and steps of infiltration of environmental education before teaching,environmental education during teaching,post-teaching environmental education infiltration,and thematic seminars.Sort out the relevant content of environmental education in the junior high school biology textbook of the People’s Education Edition,and combine the local environmental education materials with the teaching content to innovate the teaching design.A one-year environmental education penetration experiment(September 2021-July 2022)was carried out with the seventh and eighth grade students of a township middle school as the teaching practice object.After teaching practice,the environmental awareness level of middle school students was compared before and after,and the real environmental behavior of the environment was observed and analyzed.The results show that the level of environmental awareness of middle school students after practical teaching is significantly improved,indicating that the environmental education related content in junior high school biology textbooks is fully explored,and the practice path and penetration method designed in this study are operable and the teaching effect is good,which can effectively improve the environmental awareness of middle school students.Finally,this study summarizes the practical experience of infiltration of environmental education in teaching,reflects on the shortcomings in the process of infiltration environmental education,and puts forward suggestions for infiltration of environmental education in junior high school biology teaching,so as to provide reference for teachers to infiltrate environmental education in teaching. |
